I found a headstone that may be who you are looking for. Only thing is the name appears as Anna E Foley. Passing date is Oct 24, 1958. It is with other Foley members- Katherine Foley Skroback (died Aug 22, 1957), Father Jeremiah Foley (Jul [maybe] 1915), Mother Catherine Foley (died Feb 11 1932), Jeremiah Foley Jr (died Apr 6 1965). Could this be who you are looking for? If so, I will go back for better photos.

While corresponding with DMAC I've noticed that you have an interest in the Wheaton family of Lent Hill.
The last of my direct ancestors to have been born a Wheaton was my great-grandmother Carrie (Wheaton) Fisher. Her memorial is #31153091.
How are you related to the Wheatons? Are you a descendant of either Jabob or Samuel Wheaton, the two sons of Samuel and Charity Wheaton of Raritan, NJ?

Clifford is buried in the West section between the Caretakers and Civil War memorial. About halfway between the Cemetery road and the cornfield. Look for the Jared McClarrie monument, Clifford is a few rows in front of it. I have looked for Clifford for a long time. Flat markers are hard to find. I will continue to keep an eye out for your other requests.

Normally I would be very happy to do that for you, but I had knee replacement surgery a few months ago and Myrtle Hill is too steep for me to walk in right now. Maybe in a few months I will have my legs under me enough to do it, but if you want to request someone else to take the photo, that would be fine with me.

I was only there for an hour yesterday and only covered about i/3 of the cemetery. It was my 4th cemetery and the closer to 5p it got the more tired I got. I do plan to return there soon. There are too many open requests not to.

I found his headstone ... death date matches, I am still unsure, as it reads "son of Joseph & Louisa"
AND the headstone beside it doesn't have enough info on it, including given name. Can we help me out. I can either send a copy, tell you where I found it or meet you there. I live within 20 miles of Clearview Cemetery.

I have not been able to locate Daniel's grave. As you have an interest in the family would you like them transferred to you.

This is a small cemetery and has no office to contact. You might try the town clerk at
(860)354-5281 to see if she knows who to call. At least the lower branches could be pruned so the stone could be read.

My husband and I spent quite a bit of time trying to take a good photo of this grave. We cleaned out leaves and needles in front of the stone as well as possible and he held up some branches while I took the photos. This is the only tree in the cemetery. I appears someone loved these people and planted a spruce tree in their memory, without realizing how tall the tree would grow and eventually cover the headstone. It is a lovely cemetery and well maintained.
