Reagors
Adrienne
My apologies for taking so long to respond. I too am related to Anthony Reagor and Margaret Shook by way of two different paths. My 4x great grandfather was Isaac's brother Anthony Wayne Reagor (Married Rhoda Boone). Their daughter Louisa married John Lacy of whom I am descended. My other connection is Isaac's other brother Abraham (married Elizabeth Lacy, the sister of my John Lacy). Their daughter Emily Catherine Reagor (married Richard Calvin Bearden) and their daughter Elizabeth is my grandmother. This makes Abraham Reagor my 3x great grandfather. Therefore Anthony and Margaret Reagor are at the same time my 4x and 5x grandparents. It's a tangled web I know.

Please feel free to use my email if you care to have any further communication with a distant cousin.

Adrienne,
Thanks so much for letting me know about the new photos of Dock Bennett! You should look at the photo I uploaded to my grandfather's memorial #117744724. I see a definite family resemblance!

Turner's Graves at Hollywood
I am not sure what is going on - but a photo of a stone for Rosa Lee Turner was posted earlier tonight. The Caretaker could not find it - I am not sure how the contributor found it - but it is there now.......

Turner Graves at Hollywood Cemetery - Madison Co., TN
I received a request yesterday from Find A Grave for Photos of The Turner's Graves in Hollywood Cemetery - so early this am I went out to find them - Talked to the Caretakers at the Cemetery Office and they took me to the site of where the graves are located - but there were no stones for either Rosa or Thomas David Turner. He said more than likely there had never been a stone set of either so I took a photo of the lots - thought this might save you a trip to the cemetery - Oh by the way. I checked the request before leaving home and at that time there were no claim on the request - sorry but thought this just might save you a trip.

RE: Sam Bennett
Do you know any thing about Bessie? It appears that she never remarried. Moved to Oklahoma with her mother and brother. There she died.

Would love to stay in touch and exchange info about the Bennett/Mcleary families.

RE: Re: The Bennetts
I have run into that, also. If they are your grandparents, then they have to transfer. I would contact Find A Grave. And sometimes the contributor is inactive and Find A Grave can step in and help. Good luck!

Your memorial page is a duplicate of one that had already been added a couple of years earlier. Contact the other contributor to make arrangements to delete one of them. Thanks!

RE: Purtee
Hi Adrienne!!!!

Thank you so much for doing this! Carlos Purtee is indeed the headstone I am looking to have photographed. Connie is his wife and she is still living. They are my aunt and uncle.

Cheryl (Cheri) is their daughter-in-law. She tragically died in a car accident and her husband is still recovering. A headstone may not have been set yet.
