Susanna Ritter Luck
Hi Eric,
Thanks so much for also adding the photo of Susanna Luck's grave! I appreciate your time in going there! Is there also a headstone for Isaac's father, George? He is buried in the cemetery. By the way, are you related or do you know of Lucks still in Snyder County?
Thanks again for your work! Best regards, David

Carl Catherman
Perry Aurand
Eric, thank you very much pointing out my error in recording Perry's death date. I have corrected it. However, his obituary gives his date of birth as Sept. 1 so I did not change that. There is no accounting for the different ways in which people determined the age of a person at the time of death. Also, thank you for posting the photo.

Aurand and Row memorials
Thanks for sending the additional information on Elizabeth Aurand and Elizabeth and Polly Row.

I added Polly's birth date. However, the birth dates for the two Elizabeths conflict with the ages and death dates shown on the cemetery transcript (Elizabeth Aurand by about 18 months and Elizabeth Row by about two months), so I added that information in the bio sections of those two memorials. It is possible the transcript is incorrect, so I placed photo requests for them to see if the puzzle can be solved.

Thank you!

Eric, thanks so much for this photo! Did you happen to see other Sassamans in the area? I don't know where his wife Angeline is buried, was hoping they shared a stone.

RE: Sarah Sanders
Eric - I'm sorry - I didn't really look for John. Sarah's stone was so badly decayed, I think the stone next to her was totally illegible - and there's a tree on the other side of her. I did check the Wagenseller book of gravestones, published about 1900, and John is not listed here (Sarah is). But I did not check the directory of burials at the front of the cemetery. You might want to post a request for him - I'm not local and don't expect to get back until next year. Someone else might at least check the board and tell you. I see other 'promblems' listed in this cemetery's requested - so someone might let you know. Sorry.
Steve

Lula Dail Worthington
Eric,

I was curious, did you happen upon Lula's grave or was it a request. She is my great grandfather's first wife. I have attempted to find it myself but it is not the time of year for that due to crops in the fields. Could you provide more detail about where it is located?
Thanks
Amber Shirley Lloyd.

hi Eric

By any chance did you see Louise's husband, Allston Julius Stubbs, b 1882 and d bef 1830 buried next to her? I know their son is also buried there and has the same name as his father.

RE: Henrietta Shriner Lewisburg Cemetery
Sorry I was confused re Nettie. I went back to the cemetery records. The lot was bought by Isabelle Boyd on March 24, 1941, long after Henrietta died. The "no marker" notation was done before the monument for the two sisters was erected. Bonds buried there are Harry, Elizabeth S., and Isabelle.

PS. I see by her obit that a daughter's married name was Bond. The plot where Robert et al are buried is shared with a Bond family.

RE: Henrietta Shriner Lewisburg Cemetery
I found Sarah E. and Katherine M. with a single stone. They are in the same plot as Robert Shriner. I looked in the old cemetery log book for that lot. There is a Nellie Mae buried there. A note in the log says "no monument" for one of these people. I can't find one for Nellie so I assume that is the one with no marker. Would that be Henrietta's nickname? Of course she died long before the others. I think I need to keep looking.

Henrietta Shriner Lewisburg Cemetery
Hi Eric: I have not found Henrietta Shriner. Her husband is buried next to his sister Amanda. I went to Buffalo Crossroads to see if she might be buried with her family but she isn't. I welcome any ideas you have.
