Pictures
Thank you for posting & allowing the use of photos you have posted. For my family, this is the only way we are able to see what grandfathers & grandmother looked like.
Thank you so much.

Gunda Boles
I'm so happy to be able to finally fulfill your request for Gunda Boles. Truth be told I walked by her marker the first time. I normally don't go through a cemetery a second time. I'm glad I did.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Regards
DDM

RE: Atherton
hey there Thanks for messaging me.
it's true I am often discouraged when there isn't a marker and I am sure there are a host reasons why there isn't 1.
I had been coordinating with the office so I know that at least the location was right.
are you related to them?

Yes you're right, they are starting to sink in a bit. Resurrection cemetery on Allen road takes care of St. Joseph & St. Mary, they may be able to help.
Getting ready to head out for "American Mausoleum" so I should have some more photo's for you.

Dan :)

Searching the Past
RE: Ketcher
I am going to make a laminated piece of paper for him and put it in the funeral home marker, that way his name is visible. Once I get that done I will take a new pic of that and post it.
Blessings,
Donna

RE: Martha Cannon
Hi Ellie~
I just checked Martha's page and the headstone is already there with the comment that she is buried there but not included on the stone. It was posted by Dan and Tina Bateman.
Cheers

Martha Cannon
I believe you requested a photo of Martha Cannon from the Mount Angeles Cemetery. I've talked with the cemetery staff and they told me a very sad story. She sold a piece of property to pay for her husband's burial but when she died, no one paid for her name to be add to the headstone. She is buried with her husband. I took a photo of the headstone baring his name. Would you like me to post that photo. It doesn't not have her name on it.

I used to help clean out a horse stall in North Hampton for a guy who had 3 Belgians, they were beautiful animals. I went out there every Friday & would have helped him for free but he always insisted I take $10.00.
When I saw your cover photo on find a grave & saw yours it reminded me of days long gone.

Thanks for the memories,
Dan ;)

Geo Alfred - Effie Price Photos
Ellie,

You are wonderful for fulfilling my photo requests.

My grandmother always told us that when she was born, she had been named after those who were present at her birth. While all of the names were not recorded on her birth record (Effie Lee Price), she was given the name "Effie Lee Annie Alfred Price.

Now, I'm off to find the other couple who were present at my grandmother's birth.

Thank you and my family thanks you!!!

It is kind of off the beaten path, but is a very large and well kept cemetery.
