Dewight Angel
You requested a photo of Dewight Angel in the Exeter Center Cemetery. I walked the cemetery 3 times and couldn't find anyone with this last name. Are you sure they are buried there?

ANNABEL BROCKMEYER

Hi Ellie, I double checked with the cemetery office and Annabel is buried in Block 26 Lot 721 Grave 2 which is on the North side of Frank but as you will see in the picture I posted there is no marker for her.

Jonathan L. Magner

I'm sorry. I posted the wrong John Magner burial spot for this person. Actually the cemetery only has records for one John Magner and he passed away in 1928. They have no record of Jonathan or his wife.

RE: William Pheamster Chambers
Hello Ellie, nice to hear from you. We talked thru email last summer I believe. I thought I sent you a copy of the S.C. tombstone but maybe it didn't go thru. Can you email me your email address and I can send you the picture. I don't know how to attach it to this message.

I have no official records but it is believed that the graves left at the Pointe were left because they had been there so long that there was really nothing there to dig up.

Will be nice to talk to you thru email. I found the Scottish spelling of Pheamster. It is Phimister. Hope to research it soon. Lois indianalucy@hotmail.com

Simeon Hall
I notice that you posted a photo of the tombstone of Simeon Hall. He would be my great-great-grandfather (His son- Bartlett G. Hall, his son- Manning Arvine Hall, my father-Lloyd Manning Hall. I notice that, according to the info given, the names of Avery and Orilla Rice also appear on that stone. Do you know what that relationship to Simeon was?

Thank you for any information

William Playforth
I believe I found William Playforth (see note attached to the photo I posted on the memorial). It appears there is another stone lying on the ground nearby that I didn't notice until I examined the photos I took. I must have stepped right over it and didn't see it. I will go back soon to check it out, I only live about a mile away. Thanks, Mike.

RE: Henietta Bathen
Thank you for your response! that's Henrietta is one of her descendants. I'm looking for the small white headstone next to Minott's and the side of Minott's headstone listing "his three wives". Henrietta is my ancestor, Henrietta Bathen b. 1821 d. 1846. If it's not too much trouble, this would be very much appreciated.

Henietta Bathen
Hi Ellie, I also recently started researching my family tree, and am on Henrietta Bathen,2nd wife of Minott Silliman. In the Toulon Cemetery,One side of Minott's headstone has his 3 wives inscribed, and in the photo you can see part of an individual headstone for Henrietta Silliman. Would it be possible to take a photo of her headstone and create a page for her or send the photo to me and I can create it?

I'm really new at this, and hope its OK to ask. Thank you in advance...

RE: Elizabeth Vincent Knowles
Hi there, cuz! I sure hope your husband will be feeling much better real soon. My sister-in-law had the same excruciating problem years back, and I know there was a lot of suffering involved. Thank you very much for the transfer of Elizabeth's memorial. In the coming days (hopefully within the next couple of days) I'll begin re-working it to add to and adjust her bio. I know quite a lot about Elizabeth - but will need to figure out where my info is. I was my late mother's full-time live-in caregiver during her final years (she died at age 96 two years ago), and I stored away most of my genealogy papers and document photocopies, etc., during that time, since the caregiving demands were round-the-clock and exhausting, and there was so little uninterupted time or opportunties to do other things, and most stuff still remains packed away. I do still have accessible certain easy reference highlights type things I compiled for myself many years ago, but not the bulk of the actual extensive documents, of which there are many. I'm pretty sure I have a photocopy of a handwritten letter written by your Condit ancestor to the Sussex Co., DE Register of Wills or whomever, that is included in Isaac Knowles' epic probate record. As I recall, the letter was Mr. Condit expressing concern that the estate settlement had been taking a very long time during which the heirs hadn't heard any word about when their shares would be coming, and was inquiring if there had been any progress, he explaining that he and his wife and family live in I believe Illinois. I believe there are handwritten similar letters also in the probate record from this or that other heir or heir. I'll definitely check for your Condit ancestor's letter and scan and e-mail it to you, once I have successfully located it. Please add my e-mail address to your address book, so that if (and no doubt when) I send you anything, it'll readily go to your mail in-box. My e-mail address is genplant29@aol.com . I'll try to see if I can find the letter in question sometime during the next few days. Best regards, Dave

Hi, Ellie. It's general accepted consensus that Elizabeth was my 3x great-grandmother. Nice to meet another Knowles Family cousin! Best regards, Dave
