Thanks again for providing the links.
Thanks for providing the links for Mary Emma (Percival) Slaughter but another suggestion is to always include the relationship, the complete names and most importantly the memorials numbers of the persons to be linked together For Example:

Using the Edit Tab send the following message from Mary Emma (Percival) Slaughter's memorial. Please link Mary Emma (Percival) Slaughter to her parents;
Her father: J. Erastus Percival #39412146
Her mother: Susanna (Allen) Scott #49043346
Her spouse: General Gilmore Slaughter #48054671

This way I know exactly who I am linking together. When you have created so many memorials you don't remember all the names so it really helps a contributor if you would always provide as much info. as possible & be sure to include their "full names" instead of just their middle names or a nickname. Thanks again for providing the links so I could link Mary Slaughter to her parents. Have a nice day, Farm Girl from MO.

RE: Erastus Percival
Do you know any more about Mary "Emma" (Percival) Slaughter and her husband, Gilmore Slaughter? I did not find memorials for them on Find A Grave. If you know where they are buried or can link Emma to her parents please do so. I always like to see families linked together. Thanks again. Farm Girl from MO.

RE: Erastus Percival
Thanks for staightening out the relationship between Erastus Percival & his daughter. Erastus is now linked to his wife, Susan (Allen) Percival-Scott, and their daughter is now linked to them.

In the future could you please use the edit tab on a memorial to send me corrections for that memorial including correcting any links. It is so much easier to locate the correct memorial that way.

Thanks again for the info. I am always glad to make corrections or add info. to memorials. Have a nice day, Farm Girl from MO.

Hey there! I found John Dixon at the Santa Barbara Cemetery. His headstone can be seen at

You also mentioned that you'd like a photograph of Daisy L. Dixon's headstone as well. Though I couldn't locate a Daisy, there is a Blanche L. Dixon Tilton right next to John. Her headstone can be seen at

Hope this helps!

RE: Skinner/Straight
You're both welcomed, Kerry. Makes me happier than usual to find kin when it means so much to someone like your mom...remembering those passed when they were living seems to be a gift from them.

RE: Mr & Mrs J.F Miller
You're welcome. Sorry for the unusual angle, the stone has fallen over. It is pointing down a hill headfirst. This is a large, thick stone. Too large to have been pushed down by a person, it was probably bumped over by a large mower. It doesn't appear damaged. It just needs to be set back on its base (with the help of some heavy equipment). There were 27 requests for photos in this cemetery, a lot of them from quite long time ago. I found 11. So I will be going back at some point.

your very welcome...I am happy that I could find them for you. I go by there at least once a month so I will stop and look to see if I can find Alanson.

You're so welcome, was kind of hard to read, but I'm glad it was found and you have a picture. By the way, feel free to use the picture for your family records, if you want to.

RE: Sarah Wilcox
sorry it couldn't be better - I don't think it's the kind of stone I can flip by myself

RE: thomas kellens wifes memorial

She is buried in the same grave as Thomas but there is no "main" gravestone on the grave. The picture I put (and deleted at your request) is a small stone at the foot of the grave. FYI Brookdale now has an online database you can access to gather any burial information you might be looking for. The URL is:
It currently has a problem but being the weekend I'm sure it will be running again soon.

If you will go to the Nash Cemetery page, pictures of Henry and Missouri's headstones are posted under the listings I made prior to the other listings.

Hi Kerry,
Sorry about the blurry date...unfortunately, I can't use pics with better quality as FindAGrave doesn't allow, so they sometimes get pixelated... Fannie's dates were pretty stuffed with grass, so I pulled a few blades out of the cracks so you could read it better - 1865-1933. Hope this one is better on-line! Blessings!

RE: thomas kellen
There are just two cemeteries in Dedham - Old Village and Brookdale. If it said Dedham cemetery on the death certificate, it could be either. But if his wife is buried in Brookdale, he probably is too. I could call the cemetery department for you.

Thank you so much for the photo of My great uncle Dee's stone! I am so anxious for my mother to be able to see it, since she will likely never make it up there. It's also great to be able to connect it to the rest of the family memorials. I appreciate it more than you know!
