RJ Korbach
Mary C Lins
Cherri Fry - My name is RJ Korbach, grandson of Mary C Lins (53839233). I am trying to consolidate the various sites so I am asking you to move your photos to Mary Riek Lins (4273506)and then DELETE the Mary C Lins site. Yours is the only duplicate site I have left out there. If you want to get an idea of how many children there are click on Mary Riek Lins husband, Henry (my grandfather). And there are three more which will ultimately be entered when they or their spouse dies.

You could transfer the site to me but I don't think I can DELETE, only the Initial Creator can do that. And I want you recognized so I want your photos moved over.

Thanks in advance for your help.

RJ / Bob Korbach

RE: Marlin T. Schneider
Wow, you're very sweet! Some people on here can be so mean!!! Nice to have someone be nice for once. :) Yeah, if you could delete yours. I'll nab that picture from yours because we need it as evidence that the money was spent on a grave that he is not buried in.

Thanks a million!!!

Marlin T. Schneider
You have my Grandfather listed as Merlin T. Schneider His name on the stone is Marlin T. Schneider. It is the one listed in Baraboo.

He died unexpectedly and so nobody knows he was cremated down in Janesville, Wisconsin. So his stone does not have a death date on it.
All of his relatives are dead and so he never mentioned he had a stone waiting for him until I accidentally stumbled upon your page.

This is the memorial we did for him

The one you have is just a picture of his stone with no death date and no body. Maybe I can contact somebody about this.

RE: Floyd Washington Dodd
It has taken me five hours to find the answer to your question and it didn't help that I was over half way through my explanation to you when we had a ten minute power outage on my end so here I go again. First of all there are two Floyd Dodds in my family tree and no doubt in yours as well. The first Floyd W Dodd is another subject for another day as I have at last found out. Your great great grandfather, Floyd Washington Joseph Dodd (born 9 Jun 1857, in Mercer County in what was at that time the state of Virginia because, until 20 Jun 1863, there was no state of West Virginia - as you no doubt already know - and died in 1911 in Summers County, WV). I only know his year of death because it is etched into his headstone monument, which you took a picture of for his Find A Grave Memorial # 64954270 that you created, and not because there is any source documentation, such as a 'West Virginia Deaths Index' listing for him that I have been able to find. By the way, your great great grandfather Floyd Washington Joseph Dodd - the 1 Jun 1880 federal census for Jumping Branch, Summers, WV lists his name as such in the enumeration on that census - is one of my 1st great grand uncles. He was one of the four brothers of my great grandfather John Henry Dodd, born 20 Jun 1864 and killed in a heated argument with a drunk man when that same drunk man threw a half-pint bottle towards my great grandfather on 1 Sep 1943. The bottle changed directions in mid-air from bottom first towards Great Grandfather John to bottle top first. The bottle struck Great Grandfather John in the carotid artery in his neck with enough force to plunge into the artery and sever it. And the rest is history, as the saying goes. The man was put on trial for murder, was found guilty, sentenced to five years at hard labor in the Florida State Penitentiary in Raiford, FL and he served every day of his sentence as far as the family knows. At any rate, I have answered your question as to where I found the name 'Floyd Washington Joseph Dodd'. You can check out the census for yourself either on or by viewing it in my husband's and my family tree - Kowalski-Sloniger Family Tree. At least I also found out that I didn't just accept the word of someone else's Public Member Tree on this one. And, by the way, though I must be older than you zre I'm sure, how's it going cousin?

"Edits" tab on home page
HI - I'm doing a quick survey of about 400 people on my friends list just to see how many are aware of the new "Edits" tab on their home page. If you could just shoot me back a brief response, either way that would be great. Thanks.

Ah-ha, it's helpful to know about the cemeteries being so close together. Now it makes sense why the photo is popping up for both. Thanks again. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Alexanders, Westfield German Cemetery
Hello, you added two memorials for distant members of my family tree, Percy and Mae Alexander. Percy is linked to two people I do not think are his parents! Can this be changed on your end? I will send a correction to his memorial. I don't know if it was even you who linked them... but according to the links, his father would have been 13 and his mother 9 when he was born!

John G. Woodrum
I was informed by the White Chapel Memorial Gardens today that John Woodrum is buried in the Masonic Garden, section 144D, plot 2, and that it is currently unmarked. I took a photo of the location and have uploaded it.

I also photographed the remaining two Woodrums at this cemetery that did have marked graves-- Beatrice Woodrum Baumgardner and Frances Woodrum Pauley. I will be adding those shortly.

I ran by Highland Cemetery in Huntington, WV, coincidentally, to photograph an Alice Woodrum as well.

Best of luck to you in your Woodrum quest!

John Woodrum - White Chapel Memorial Gardens

I just wanted to let you know that I haven't been able to locate John Woodrum's grave just yet, or any record of it at the White Chapel online database, which isn't necessarily accurate. The ladies at the office have been very busy so I plan to stop in again next week to see what they can come up with.

I did photograph the other Woodrum memorials though, except those where Woodrum would have been a maiden name as I didn't think of it til just now.

I'll see what I can find for John.

Miller Cemetery, Dane Co
All three entries that you have made to Miller Cemetery, Dane County, WI should be deleted.
These three people have already been entered, with grave photos, in the correct cemetery which is Miller Family Cemetery in SAUK County, WI.

Hi Cherri!
I am so grateful that you are so kind to transfer maintenance of my great-grandparents, James and Mary Fitzgerald, and my cousin by marriage, Judy Mears!
Thank you so much!
Would you believe James and Mary have 3 more children to add to theirs? Big family!
God Bless you for all you've done!
I live in AZ, so it is so nice to be able to visit these graves of people I loved (even those I never met) from here!
Again, Thank you and God Bless you!

Thank you for the transfers of the Memorials for these Keller children.
They were all the Grandchildren and a Great-Grandchild of Johannes and Maria Thilke (Thoelke) on whose farmland the Thoelke Cemetery is located.

Of course, now it is all government land.

Take Care, and thanks again.
