Laura, I came across your request for a pic of Wiley Massey headstone. I am his nephew, he was one of my moms older brothers. I came across it and was just curious is all. My family came from the same region that yours did and your last name sounds very familiar. My father was a share cropper in Greenbrier. Like I said I was just curious is all.

Did John have a brother or other relative named Jim Cross? I may have found the grave but it is probably unidentified.

Well Sarah (McGee) Cato is my 5th great grand aunt, If she is your 4th great grandmother then we are cousins. I have only a couple of generations passed her but if you need them holler. Also you might want to contact Erin jackson (see is on my friends list) if you haven't already. See is into the Abernathy & Cato lines.

Sorry it took so long for the transfer of Anna Lois (Eaker) Huffman. I do have a question for you. Is the picture on your profile, the headstone of Louis Cato, is this the husband of Sarah McGee (daughter of Daniel McGee & Catharine (Rigelmann) Wills McGee?

Leo Kubisiak

I just read the obit and it says that Leo was buried in St. Joseph Cemetery. On the photo request it is listed under Cedar Grove Cemetery.

When I get a chance, I'll run over there and see what I can find...

Kubisiak (Leo)

I went to Cedar Grove Cemetery and found the family lot. There is a family stone on it and three small head markers. One says Mother 1857-1938, Father, 1858-1935 and one which reads,
Stanislaw 1895-1924. There is no stone for Leo. I'm sure this is the right lot. I will post the family monument if this is what you'rre looking for. Please let me know.
