Congratulations, great digging. I recently found the resting place of 134th NY Volunteer soldier #500. It's much slower going now that all of the low hanging fruit has been harvested. Paul PS Congrats again on having a Dr. in the house.

I seem to see the word "Mother" on the tombstone.

Can you tell me more closely what the tombstone says?

Agnes L. Home Clark at Mt Olivet
The posted death certificate is for a Agnes Clark buried at Mt Olivet who died in 1897.

The memorial page is for a Agnes Clark who died in 1879, way before Mt Olivet even opened.

I did find the grave for the death certificate Agnes Clark who died on Feb 21 1897.

The other Agnes who died in 1879 is probably buried at Mt Olive on the northside of Chicago which was in operation in 1879.

People confuse Mt Olivet and Mt Olive all the time.

Thomas Robinson's Mother
Kathy, I found a picture of Thomas Robinson's mother. I'll scan it and em it to you. It's a close-up portrait of her. Not a very
flattering picture, she looks really grim.

Hi, I haven't clicked on the CLAIM to fulfill
your photo request because we are all under two feet of snow here in Berkeley Springs, W V. The gates to the cemetery were locked. The snow is melting now. Once the cemetery re-opens and I can find the person in charge of the cemetery that can tell me where the gravesites are located, I'll fulfill your request and all the others. It's a huge cemetery with all access roads covered in deep snow. Judy

Photo Requests

I just sent you an em on the Franklin M Karker/Laura R Goodman photos you posted.

On your photo requests, I should be able to get all but the one in Niagara Falls for you.

Also, I see that one of the cemeteries is in Amsterdam. In the em I listed Gloversville for those photos in error.

RE: Conover pictures
Hi Kathy -
I was so glad to find them. I started searching the section at the top of the hill and, of course, they were in about the 2nd row from the bottom!
I do have one photo of Caroline's stone that shows the one in front of it is for an Alfred M. Schutz. I think the 3 rectangular stones went together, but that's the only one I can see. If you'd like that photo, I can send it to you - it's a fairly decent view of Caroline's stone.
Glad you have good memories of Johnstown. It was a great place to grow up.

Best regards,

Hi Kathy...updated this memorial for you. This is not my family, so if you would like a transfer just ask. I see you have also sponsored this memorial, so you have a keen interest in this family, so I owe you a "thank you" for doing that. Best, Linda
