You might want to hold off for awhile on sending updates. I am working 3 part-time jobs and I'm pretty busy at this time

Thanks Klaus for the fast response, and also for being a caring person. I definitely appreciate all the wonderful volunteers on FindAGrave, and you are one of them!

Even though we are not known to be kinfolks, you may very well know some of the people I and my family met when visiting Blankenheim. At the time Klaus Ring was director of the Blankenheim Historical Museum and was a big help in supplying info on my WILMS and PAULI family. Also a fellow by the name(I think) of Wolfgang Dopplefeld, and a resident living in an old house formerly many moons ago where my ancestor lived. It was a lovely trip, one that my brother (who lives in Norway) had made the year before in 2003. I want to return, and also go again to Bad Munstereifel where I also have connections and found cousins. Beautiful, beautiful countryside and villages!

Thanks again and all the best wishes to you Klaus!

Martha Mozelle STANALAND # 49077865
Klaus, in Oklahoma's Memorial Park Cemetery, there are several STANALANDs buried...on line of Zacheus Manuel STANALAND that are on my STANALAND husband's line that came via Alabama to East Texas. Are you related to the Martha where you left flowers / memorial?

By the way, I note you come from area of Germany / The Netherlands where my father's German lines came (The Eifel region, Blankenheim Ger) in 1700s, coming from Hoogeloon, The Netherlands. They were WILLEMS in The Netherlands and WILMS in Blankenheim. (I've visited Blankehheim in 2004) My line Johann Joseph WILMS & wife Anna Helena Magdalena PAULY / PAULI b in 1850s in Blankenheim & Ripsdorf left Blankenheim early in 1883. They had married 1882, had a son my grandfather Heinrich Joseph WILMS Jan 1883 and the left with their son via Hamburg and Le Havre, France to NYC in America, arriving May 1, 1883 on the SS Gellert. They settled first in Glen Haven, Grant County Wisconsin near Magdalena's uncle Joseph PAULI, moving 1898 across the Mississippi Rover to Guttenburg, Clayton County Iowa, and later after Johann "John" Joseph died in 1909, they soon were living in Dubuque, Iowa.

But my main reason for contacting you is to ask about your connection to the STANALANDs.
