...also, my mother has since passed and the memorial has been updated. See new image here #72931140. Can you link her as spouse of Dwight?

Saw some of your images from Caldwell; lovely B&W work. Maybe we could compare notes about some of the better (visually) graveyards in the area? I'm based in Glen Ridge...

|SusanG||Re: Maria Hoyt|
Could I copy your photo of Maria Hoyt to my ancestry tree which is private, giving you credit. Thank you so much for locating Maria Smith Hoyt! I am very appreciative of your hard work. They last name Smith can be very tricky to research.
Thank you again!

|mmbc||Dominican Sisters of Caldwell Cemetery|
Thanks for adding the pictures of some of the sisters graves at the Dominican Sisters of Caldwell Cemetery. By the time I found the cemetery and my great Aunts grave I didn't have time to take additional pictures.

Just popping by to wish you and yours good holidays and a fine 2012. ★

Thanks for your reply to my Thanksgiving note. I've been slow in replying but for a good reason - we found a specialist and have found relief for my mom's terrible chorinic pain, so it's a good thing! Other than that, hosetly not much to report.
Have any special plans for the break? This year, for a change, we're staying home. I'm thrilled, tired of holiday travel. What a joy it'll be to roll out of bed and go downstairs in my jammies!
"Sometimes our fate resembles a fruit tree in winter. Who would think that those branches would turn green again and blossom, but we hope it, we know it." -- Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832)
Wishing you hope like this, and sending warm wishes for the holiday and for a fine 2011. Thanks for your friendship.

Just wanted to send warm wishes...
The year has turned its circle,
The seasons come and go.
The harvest all is gathered in
And chilly north winds blow.
Orchards have shared their treasures,
The fields, their yellow grain,
So open wide the doorway-
Thanksgiving comes again!
Wishing you and yours a splendid day, and giving thanks for your fine pics and friendship :-) I see you're still at it, you go!

Thanks for Jane's death date. Glad to see you are taking pics at Hanover Cemetery. Maybe we can work together and concentrate on all the gravestones that still need to be posted.

Thank you for your fine new photo of David Young's gravestone; the inscription is much more legible now, & I was able to correct his page accordingly. Apparently, though, your photo accidentally uploaded twice. Would you please delete the duplicate?

Hello ~ There is another marker for Marinus Willett and Isaac William Halsey at the Hanover Presb. Church Cemetery. I added a photo to your memorial page for Isaac Wm but you may want to change the order and move it down:-)

I just got your other addition and fixed up those dates- thanks so much.
Ok on the censuses... perhaps I should have been clearer, I have access up to 1920. Also, you may find this site very useful too.
If you don't mind, I'm adding you as a friend so my fuzzy mind remembers we had contact... but with your handle I probably won't forget... I had a Valentine in my family, but it was his first name :-)
Whoa, here comes another correction or addition from you... onwards :-)

I see you've gotten maybe five more of the ones I added. I really like your pictures. The black and white is striking and makes the detail better. It's not my place to "play host", but thank you for what you're doing - it's really nice and has value for posterity. If I can help with any of your family stuff, let me know. I have census access to 1920.

Wow, you found Cora Schoonover's place of rest! Thank you for contacting me. I have entered a lot of area grave data from the notices like the one on Cora's memorial. You're only the second person I've heard from about them, and the first one to add a picture!
I'm thrilled, really. These graves almost ended up underwater from the Tocks Island Dam project. It's wonderful you are recording them for posterity because those stones aren't getting any younger.
Please, don't be shy if you come across others I have added. Any corrections or additions you send my way will be done ASAP and with thanks.
