Miranda Hazelwood

Hello! I am Miranda. I'm a History Major at Georgia Southern University, and one of my professors got me curious about genealogy. I just came across this site after tracing back my grandfather's family. I am the grand-daughter of Fredrick Wilson Hazelwood. He was from West Virginia, and he married Mary Louise Williams in the 1950's I believe. They moved to Augusta GA when my dad, Gerald, was born in 1964. I was just curious what your relation to the Hazelwood family was? I am so excited I have found out so much about the family. I've been wanting to for a while.

I should have sent that to your private e-mail. Ihave been working on my Parker family for my sister to join the DAR. And my Jones family for the Mayflower Society (Warren). Although the Parker family is connected to the sister of Isaac Allerton. Anyways, my e-mail is if you want to kee p this off site.

Huldah Bugbee Pancost
Thank you for this information. I am sorry you were not able to locate her gravestone, but I still appreciate your time and effort in looking and letting me know what you discovered. Please do let me know if you do locate her gravestone elsewhere (or any other Bugbee family members you may find). Thanks again - Allison

RE: Warner Monument
That is no problem. The mausoleum is locked but I'll try sometime to contact someone at our historical society. Maybe they will know someone I can contact to get a picture of the inside.

You could have somebody historical society see if they can contact John Warner the ? I don't know which number he is. He is a year younger than me.

Cynthia Warner
It's me, the person that told you to call Tim Followell about the Warner's. How did you find Cynthia and is she in the Warner Mausoleum. (The Secret Garden)

Shirley, I just did a county search on Find a Grave and Thomas, his son Thomas and 9 others are buried at the City Cemetery in Farmer City.

RE: Dr. John Warner
I'll keep my eyes open for Cynthia and the children, just in case they are in this cemetery. If not, then when the weather is much better I can take a drive over to Farmer City if need be.

Dr. John Warner
Hi, I received a request to photograph Dr. John Warner in Clinton, IL. I will get out there just as soon as the weather clears a bit, unless someone else decides to go ahead and do it. I do have a general idea of where he is located in the cemetery, just from driving by there a lot, LOL.

Looks like Wednesday might be a decent day according to the weather predictions.

Thank you for letting my know what happened. Also remember that I have seen Cynthias' name spelled Synthia. Maybe it is filed under that name.

Shirley, I left you a note on your message board with the number to call in Clinton - 217-935-9438 and speak to Tim Followell. He has the cemetery book. I did not try to call because I thought you saw the message.

I have tried to e-mail you twice and it gets returned. The phone number for cemetery information with the city of Clinton is 217-935-9438 and ask for Tim Followell. Maybe if you talk to them you might get a better result. Good luck.

Yes, I saw that only two children were listed in 1860. The point I was making was that she did live in Clinton not Farmer City. I will call again tomorrow and ask specifically about the mausoleum. Surely they have a list of who is in there.

The Secret Garden
Yes, I agree. I'm sure I read that when Dr. Warner first came to Dewitt County he had a doctors office/house at Farmer City. I think she died there.

Cynthia Warner
I contacted the city and they have no record of Cynthia. I have read an article which said she died in DeWitt County. They said this death is too old, that is why they have no record, but I have seen records older than that.

I did not know John Warner had four children by the first wife, from what I read it was four children total. His obituary is in find a grave. I will call Tim at the city and ask where the first wife is buried as I have also wondered. I will get back with you.

Don't believe he is the same person. This David was married to Isabell Susan Murdock.

Do you have any information on Florence Warner (sister of Arabella). I can't find any information on her.

Bell memorials
If you look you will see I am not the person that created the memorials for Grant and Arabella. I never really checked to see if they are buried at Woodlawn. I have not been able to find much information on these people, but yes, they did live in CA and it doesn't appear they had children.

Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to find and photograph the maker.

Would you also place the marker on the memorial for her daughter, Francis?

Thank you,

What a surprise to see a sister DAR took the photos for another sister DAR member (a prospective member). And it is going through yet again another sister DAR member (your chapter Registrar). Thanks so much. Look forward to seeing you at our next DAR chapter meeting.

RE: Moat's
Hi Shirley,
I'm happy to have found most of the Moats, I'm sorry there was one listed that I couldn't find. They've had a lot of rain since Memorial day so the grass was very high and thick. If Martin has a low stone not right there with all the others I just didn't find him. Mary Moat was a new listing, would you like me to transfer her memorial to you?

Maria Indelkofer's Grave Marker
Thanks for letting me know that there is no longer a marker for her but that she is listed on the Saint Peters Catholic Cemetery list of buried. I appreciate your help and info. Jill
