Hi! In regards to your photo request, can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker? Please post this information to the memorial or send it to me.

Oakridge-Glen Oak Cemetery: 708-344-5600

Oakridge-Glen Oak is a huge cemetery with well over 30,000 burials, and the information is needed in order to find someone there and take a photo of a grave. I go here regularly, and I should be able to take a picture shortly after receiving the grave location.

Thank you! Ace

RE: Edgar and Jeanne Stuntz
You are welcome! Please note that I also took the opportunity to capture a photo of the Cheadle headstone that was located next to your request as I could tell they must have been related as the stones were so similar.

Take care!

Thank you for responding. Jean is my dad's sister, and I have known Bugs and Jean my entire life. I wasn't aware that she had any more information than you and I, because his life is a mystery to the family. I do have the 1930 census, and Powell is spelled Pal. That was a difficult find. I will check with Jean when I get a chance. Thanks again!

Elizabeth Helmick photo
Please edit the photo caption & remove the middle name - PLEASANT. Miles Helmick (1817 - 1860/70) had no middle name. His son was named Miles Pleasant Helmick. Thank you.

I have a paper copy of the same photo.

We appreciate your thoughts and always happy to be of assistance. We have been working since May-11 to get the owners to clean up the cemetery so we could get in and take pictures. It is a shame the cemetery is in such horrible shape; however the current owners have stated they plan to make changes as funds become available. We will keep in touch with them.

You are most welcome! Please note that we found the parents of John Boardman buried nearby, so I created memorial pages for them. Also two of their children who died at young ages. Hope these add to your research information. Have a great week! Barb
