Sorry about those dups. I entered them from the plot sheets and have not had time to get back and verify them.

Molly Lefevers Slusher
I do not know if you relate to Molly Lefevers Slusher or not but I saw you had her siblings names and wanted to let you know if you did not by chance that she also had a half brother through her mother Sarah Hoskins who first m. Daniel Davis and they had one son named James M. Davis. Daniel died in 1864 of typhoid while serving with the Ky. 49th Infantry Co. F. and Sarah Hoskins shortly after married William Sydney Lefevers. I have always been searching for descendants of James Davis half siblings since they were the only ones he had. I descend from his daughter Laura Davis. James Davis' widow Martha J Johnson Davis moved to Butler Co. Ohio after the death of her husband when relatives told her it was a good place to find work. I just wanted to let you know in case you wanted to add him as a sibling and also if anyone who does descend from Molly Slusher or their other half sister Rachel Lefevers Locke I would love contact with them and perhaps someone could tell me where James is buried.

Kent Thompson
Calvin Elliott Latta
I updated this person's memorial based on the information you provided in your note of Jun. 13, 2011. You wrote: "Calvin Elliott Latta, born Feb. 3, 1895 and died June 22, 1895. Calvin was the infant son of Richard Granville Latta and Grace Parker." This memorial is in Saint John in the Wilderness Episcopal Cemetery, White Bear Lake, Minnesota, USA. This is Memorial# 59771877. Please let me know if you want ownership of this memorial transferred to you. I am not related to this person.

RE: Howards in Woodlawn
Hi Cindy,
You are welcome, but I only add flowers to graves. I think you need to contact BJ Waters. She and another volunteer are the ones that go every week and take photos of grave stones.
Take care,

My email address is now on my profile. I lived in the Cutler area for several year and know the area well. My great grandmother Cora was married to Walter Dierks when he died.

Dirks/Dierks Connection
I made a connection today on your memorials for Johan/ John Dirks. I added his son Herman to the list of children. I noticed that you have loaded some memorials in the Smith Mountain Cemetery, Dinuba, Tulare County, California. Follow the link on Herman to see where it leads. Also, I have noticed you have memorials that were in Bakersfield, Kern County, CA. Feel free to email me or leave a message.

Jacob and Maria Hoover Yost
I am interested in knowing how you know that Maria's maiden name is Hoover. I see a lot of people list this as her maiden name, and some list her as Maria Katherine Hoover. But I don't know where they found it. Do you have any ideas? Thanks,
Susan Yost Clawson, Dayton, Indiana

RE: Hey Cindy : )
Thank you for setting up Pansy's memorial page, the photo's uploaded and in place.

I like you have started a little genealogy and it has helped a bit with grieving over the passing of my mom, sounds like it's helped you too. You have really worked hard. Give yourself a pat on the back.

If you need anything else don't hesitate to give me a holler.

Have a beautiful week Cindy,

RE: Hey Cindy : )
Oh My Gosh!!!

Hi Cindy,
What a beautiful message you wrote me. Thank YOU.
I was wondering where you were, maybe babysitting and enjoying your grandchildren. They are such a joy.
Yes I was at Union just photographing away, in my own little world and came across George and Anna's headstone, boy was I so happy.

I guess I forgot to tell you I was so happy I just went ahead and uploaded their headstones to their memorial pages, Ha! Imagine that!

Did you make up a memorial for George's wife Pansy? If so I will be happy to upload the headstone to her memorial page as well.

I hope all is well with you Cindy and together we accomplished a few complete memorials...Yeahhh.

God Bless and have a beautiful week to come.

RE: Re: The Brunk Family
Could this be your George?
George C Brunk
Born: 14 Oct 1885
Santa Maria, California, USA
Died: 21 Feb 1959
Bakersfield, Kern, California, USA
Mothers Maiden Name: Yelkin
Parents: Charles Henry Brunk, Mary Yelkin

Are you trying to find where they are buried?
I know I have been trying to track down my relatives as well.

I called out to Greenlawn Cemetery, they opened in 1934, and their sister Cemetery is Greenlawn Southwest Mortuary and Cemetery and they opened in 1978. There show no records of the names you gave me at these two cemeteries.

*Union* would more than likely be the place as it was our first Cemetery, with a prior different name before Union Cemetary.

Last one would be Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery which opened around the mid to late 60's

I would call Hillcrest Memorial for you but their office closes at 5 pm pacific time.

Harold Leon: Birth:11 Jul 1894 - Delano, California, USA
Death: 11 Jul 1915 - Kern County
Parents: Charles Henry Brunk, Mary Yelkin

Are Charles and George brothers?

Kern County is big, covers Arvin, Woody, Glenville, California City, Onyx, Delano, Ridgecrest, Mojave, Tehachapi, Keene, Johannesburg, Cantil, Keyesville, Wofford Heights,
Walker Basin, Shafter, Glenville, Wasco, Weldon, Taft. Hmm I think I got them all.

I did go to but they rarely tell you the burial cemetery name.

I just go down the list and call. I know there is a better way to do this I'm sure.
The forum here on find-a-grave do have a geneaology site, you can also ask question in there, they may be able to help you. I hope I have helped a little.
