Elza Miller Memorial
Uncle Elza was my Mother's youngest brother, Martha Jane Miller Duff was my Mother. I note that you posted the Memorial for Elza. Could you be a relative of his, and thus related to me? I have been in touch with various cousins, and speak with Uncle Elza'a oldest daughter Susan Jane Miller Lewis who lives in springfield. I would greatly appreciate hearing from you. And I take this opportunity to Thank You for your interest and kindness in posting the Memorial.....
Sincerely, DeLoy William Duff, deloyduff@gmail.com

Sorry, no stone.
There are over 18,000 Confederates buried in Hollywood. The original markers were wood. After the war they were replaced with stone numbered markers
The headstones seen in the picture were placed by family members after the war or through genealogy research.
The fee for a headstone from Hollywood is $100 for the headstone footer. The headstone itself is free as they are considered veterans.
The following is the link for the Veterans paper work .Should you desire to have a headstone placed.

Update on your Warf requests
Hi Clara, I have uploaded your requested images of William and Sarah Warf's headstone image. They share a headstone yet I uploaded one to each of their memorial pages. Of note, if you enlarge the image on your computer, you will see that William's dates are noted as 1808-1879 and Sarah's as 1800-1874. Hope this helps with your family history. Helen

Kathleen Fleury Bilbrey
Spring Hill Cemetery
As you have probley seen there are alot of requests, that have not as yet gotten fullfilled and they may not either if the requestors dont call the Spring Hill office for the locations .
So you may have to delete the original request and do over by calling the Cemetery office for location of your familys interment for pic takers to actually get the pics for you.

I suggest you may have to call the Funeral Home Office and ask for the locations of any of your loved ones . And then put the location section in the request so the people who go to take pics wont have to go to the office to ask for the locations .
615-865-1101

The last times I went to ask for locations , the people in the office there said, they would have to charge non family members 5 dollars to look up locations, because they were much too busy helping the family members of interments .
Good luck in your Ancestry searches.

Kathy

TLH
Hugh Hathaway photo request
If you can call Sparkman Hillcrest (214 363 5401) and get the burial location for Hugh, I will fill your photo request. The office is very particular about volunteers asking for burial locations.
Once you get the location, please let me know what it is. I will send a correction request to the memorial owner to have it added.

thanks!

Joseph Allen
Joseph is probably in a now unmarked grave. I photograph all existing stones when I created the cemetery, but still need to stop by for a new photo for John Hickman. Will look again for Joseph Allen.

The section SH means State Hospital burial. These burial are behind a locked gate and are only assessable to family members and by appointment only. There are usually no headstones the graves are identified by numbers. Sorry I can not fullfill the photo request......Richard

Sue
Bruner photo request
Clara, I received a photo request for Willie Otis Bruner #9174064. There is another memorial page for Willie Otis Bruner #3447828, b. March 21, 1899, d. July 7, 1948, buried at Decker Prairie Cemetery (so all the info matches your "Willie Otis Bruner") and there is a photo posted to that memorial page, so you may want to take a look at it.

Silas Loveall
I attempted today to fulfill the photo request for Silas Loveall. He is in the mauseleum at Greenlawn on the top tier. I was unable to photo the plate as I would have needed a ladder. I did add a photo of the mauseleum. If you would like me to remove it let me know and I will. Sorry Linda

Malissa Jane Blades
May Youngblood Dulin was my husband's great-grandmother. I'm not related but I am the one who knows the "stuff" about the family. I have to explain to him how he's related to people other than the ones he actually knew.

Malissa Jane Blades
You have Malissa Jane Blades, the wife of Theodric B. Youngblood, as being the daughter of Edward Blades Sr. and his wife (Maynard). I believe that she was actually the daughter of their son Edward A. Blades Jr. There is a Jane Blades b. about 1855 in the 1860 Census in Edward Jr.'s family. Also, if Edward Sr. died in 1844 he couldn't have had a daughter born in 1856. I'm sure this is one of those funny things that happens when families repeat names across the generations.
