I am very sorry, even when I took the picture I could not decipher any dates on the stone.

RE: Elmer Busser
I'm sorry, I don't have any information. I just saw the request and was nearby. It was helpful that the plot number was on there so it didn't take me long at all to find. Best of luck with finding more info. =)

Clarence Waughte Memorial
HI Antoinette,
Just a note to let you know I've replaced the photos for the Waughtel memorials and The Horn family. The old ones were taken in the fall. These at least have green grass in them.
While there, I couldn't find Clarence(he has a flat marker and I asked a man gathering the flags of veterans if he had seen the one for Clarence. He went to the shed and checked and helped me find him. As it turned out he said he lived next door to Clarence when he was a kid! His last name was Oberdorff.
Have a great day! Virginia

RE: Memorial# 122178483
Thank you for your message, I have removed the duplicate memorial. The reason why I had him in Mountain View was I happened upon a microfilm of their records, his name was one among many I entered. Honest mistake on my end.

You are very welcome! I know it is a bad pic. I had to scrape off the mold that collected over the winter and the sun was behind the stone. I hope to get back there at a different time and retake that one. I had a few like that yesterday.

You will need to go thru the edit tab on her page to request a transfer of your G/grandmother and for the future just to let you know we do not accept info or updates from a visitor.

"I'm sorry to hear that you don't find it feasible to transfer my great aunt's memorial to me. I have been trying to keep all family connected in my family notebook for our yearly family reunions. In case I have read you wrong..."

I don't believe there is anything to read wrong. You requested an Out of Guideline (OOG) transfer. The request has been denied. I only transfer within Find A Grave guidelines. Though your desire to keep your family "connected" is admirable you need to do so within the sites boundaries. This site and memorials have nothing to do with your family reunions or your notebook. Find A Grave is a "grave registration" website not a "build your family tree" website. There are plenty of other sites on the internet to use for tree building. I have offered to make any links that you would like. You don't have to be the manager to keep your family connected here. Find A Grave rules state that a request for a transfer should not be made unless you have substantial information to add. Most corrections and additions are not substantial.

It might help you understand the site better if you read the FAQ (rules) section of Find A Grave. There is a link on my profile page that will take you directly to the transfer part of the FAQ.

Again I am more than willing to add links and update any information.

RE: MEMORIAL 31894198
I have sent a copy of your message to them. Waiting for a response. A copy of what was follows,

I just received a message asking to make a connection with you. If you would like to have me help make the connection let me know one way or the other. If I can help you connect it may help open new/old information. I will copy and paste the message left on and then if you want to ask for other information it can be sent through my connection.

MEMORIAL 31894198
You make mention of someone possibly knowing more on this family. I think possibly the mother Nancy Reed is somehow connected to my Sarah Reed who married Ralph Dougherty. Is there any way that I can make contact with the person or persons so that I might clarify this relationship? Thank you so much.

RE: SINEX MARKER #81409536
I have transferred Brewer Sinex to you. I don't understand your reference to the Sinex Vault. I didn't have either Brewer or Mary A. listed as being in the vault or pictures of it on their memorials. If you have obits saying they were put in the vault, then it would have just been until the ground/weather was suitable for digging a grave. Dr. Sinex allowed many bodies to be placed in the vault until they could be buried.
Please use the "edit" at the top right of the memorial to make requests for corrections or transfers. I'm working at home today with the dial-up. I had to load so many pages to get to where I could transfer, that I almost gave up trying. The "edit" will send me a link to the correct page and cut out a lot of steps.
