No I don't. I took this picture when I was visiting several years ago. She was probably buried by some Seigfrieds and when I returned home and realized she didn't have her married name listed on her stone, I put Seigfried. I have changed her name to reflect Keiserman per your information and death certificate. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

RE: Duplicated Memorial
Deleted the memorial on Roma Harbour you asked me to and linked partents and spouse. I knew some of the siblings so I sent an edit to the person who posted their memorials, but did not know all of them. I did not post any of the siblings

Jacob's memorial was only a duplicate because the 2008 memorial does not match what is on the stone. It does not say Johan anywhere on that stone. When I create the memorials I match what the stone says I don't add things that aren't there.

RE: Leon Spory 132813020
I transcribed the Mt. Zion Lutheran Cemetery back in the late 1990's but obviously that was before Leon died. I transcribed Forest Lawn near Johnstown just a few years ago (after he died) and I did not see any marker for him there.

However, I did post obits for both Leon and his wife and they both indicate that they were both buried at Mt. Zion.

I added an obit for her which should clear up who she belongs to.

I don't know off- hand, but I'm going to the library this afternoon. I see on the index that she has an obituary, so I'll pull it and post it to the memorial.

Michael Ferguson
Michael Gongaware
Hi,

I am the 5th great-grandson of Michael. He came here from Lehigh Valley with General Braddock as a road cutter and squatted not far from the Home Depot in Greensburg, PA. There is a home on the foundation of his long cabin. The 102 acres are still being farmed.

He attended Old Harrolds Church which is now a UCC Church.

Most of the family is buried in Brush Creek Cemetery. The best I can determine is he and Catherine are buried in the cemetery behind the church. His some John and wife are there along with a single sister of John. I have detected 2 graves to the left of his daughter, so I assume that is their graves. Even in a 1967 survey there were no headstones present. This is the church that they attended and in 1826 I feel he and his wife would not have been taken to his son's Phillip Church.

Also, the Millers have many graves near the Gongaware's.

Any Thoughts?

Hello,
I will be happy to add the information that you requested but please use the edit tab on the memorial for requests. It gives me a link to the memorial and your profile if I need to leave a message. I know of no way to find a memorial with only the memorial number.
Thank you!
Rickey

Martha Jane Gongaware
I am researching my late sister-in-law's family line for my brother. Her grandmother is Martha Jane Gongaware Crowell born 6 MAR 1909 in Pennsylvania (tombstone) and died SEP 1994. She is buried at Brush Creek Cemetery, Irwin, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.

I have not been able to locate her family in the 1920 census but I think I found her and her husband John I. Crowell in Penn, Pennsylvania in 1930.

Any additional information would be very helpful.

Hi Clyde I talked to the lady in Brush Creek cemetery office these are the people she said are in A-13 not all are marked.

Lewis W.
Emma Jane
Hanna E.
Grover Cleveland
Otis Alvin
Elmer Riley
Infant d. 1907
Linnie d. 1887
Alberta 1898-1920
Margaret J. d. 1941
Robert Edward d. 1936

of those 11 Emma, Riley, Linnie, Infant, Hannah & Lewis W. are buried closest together with the marker I asked you about. All of the others are suppose to have individual markers.

I have been trying to find out where my 2xgr aunt is buried. She married Jerry Clark Gongaware, her name was Pearl Rose. Would you happen to know where they are buried? Kathi

Hi Clyde Using photo shop and tweaking one side of the stone has lewis, the second side has Jane E. at the top, Hannah E. in the center and Riley E. at the bottom. I still could not pull anything from the other 2 sides. I will call the office and ask the office manager who is there and add the stone to them. the stone is worn but I think if some one were buried in 1968 it would still be legible. Kathi

Hi Clyde my friend and I have photographed Brush Creek cemetery. I was hoping you could help me with the people on 1 stone. Lewis W. 1837-(looks like 1909) is by himself on 1 side each of the other 3 sides has 2 names Hannah E. I was able to pull up using chalk but the name above hers and the 4 names on the other 2 sides I cant read at all. Would you know who was buried with Lewis and Hannah? The lady in the Brush Creek Office is a little frosty when I try to ask her for help. Kathi

My friend and I just finished taking pictures of Brush Creek and are now in the process of uploading pictures. We are just finished The C so in the next month we should have the G's listed you might find more family. I also do remember seeing the name spelt Gangawere. So keep checking back we might have more family members for you.

RE: Alice Margaret (Hutchinson) White
Hi again Clyde, and thanks for your input.

I will be happy to work with you on this. Believe me, I know that even with the most careful search before adding, it is still possible to miss and still accidently duplicate.

I don't mind deleting these 2 memorials but hope that with any future additions that you might make, you will give me the chance make corrections/additions/links to pre-existing memorials that I might have.

Have you seen these marker photos on-line? Here is Annabelle-- http://www.pagenweb.org/~fayette/headstones/surname_h/hutchinson014.jpg

Her first name seems to be spelled as all one word on her marker, so if her Find A Grave memorial is 2 words, then there is always the chance that a new duplicate will pop up someday, from someone else, but then maybe you know for a fact that she actually spelled her name in 2 words.

Thanks for noticing my duplicate of Alice M. Hutchinson. I should have noticed it when I did my search under-- ‘Hutchinson'. I will gladly delete it.
Here is a photo of her marker, incase you have not seen it.

http://www.pagenweb.org/~fayette/headstones/surname_h/hutchinson013.jpg

Are you related to these Hutchinsons? Hannah Hopwood Hutchinson is definitely part of my tree, through her first husband Wilson Hutchinson.

RE: Mem # 16500314 Nancy Yarbrough
Sorry about the confusion, my bad. Memorial #16589974 is Nancy Yarborough Brewster 1838-1898 and #16500314 is Nancy Yarbrough 1838-1846 created by me.
Hope this explains.
