|Johnson Newton Burris Lippincott||Johnson's in Waseca, MN|
I understand that you may have some photos and information on the Johnson's. I'd love it if you would share them with me. John Sigursen Gislos is my 4x Great-grandfather, through his son Thorbjorn "Thomas" Johnson, who is my 3x Great-grandfather. Thomas had a son named Adolph who is my 2x Great-grandfather. Adolph was born in Waseca Co, MN, but moved to Turtle Lake, McLean Co, ND. Adolph Johnson had a son named Joel. My great-grandfather Joel Johnson moved to Kansas City in the 1920's, where my grandfather, father, and myself were also born. I would be delighted to learn anything you may know about them, and see any photos or documents related to them. Thank you!

I looked back at my photo's. John seems to be by himself. I generally take photo's of all people I can find with the requested last name in case they turn out to be related/important. If his wife has a stone I didn't see it.

You are very welcome. I am glad I could help.
I have added the information you gave me and made connections for Alice and Anna's memorials.

I have posted Anna Applegate's grave marker for you. You were asking if there were any other Applegate's buried near her. There is no other Applegate's buried in the same Block she is in, which is Block 23. You were asking about Anna's maiden name. I do not know.
The other two names you asked about were Hughes and Davis. Listed below are the names of the individuals that are listed in the same Block as Anna.
Hughes: (I posted their photos on their memorials)
1. Irven Hughes (1887-1969)
2. Merrietta Hughes (1898-1977)
3. Alice Hughes (1893-1918)
Davis: (I posted their photos on their memorials except for Lillian Davis. Another contributor posted her photo)
1. Katie Davis (1903-1935)
2. Florence Davis (1876-1952)
3. Lillian Davis (1874-1922)
4. Lida Davis (1865-1925)

|jarodpretends||Griese Plot @ Lake View Cemetery|
I photographed the plot today along with your photo request. I did not find the other surnames you mentioned in your note, but there were several people buried in the plot who did not already have memorials. I added photos to those with memorials and created new pages for those without. In addition to Griese, there were also the surnames Hall and Merritt. If you would like a list of those I found, please let me know.

Thank you. Im sorry for all the trouble. I know Guy is from here.Newspaper said he was laid to rest there. Maybe family decided to keep his ashes. Now about lester.Pretty strange because Carol Farnum knows what she is doing.She goes out to the cemetery. She does not take pictures,but she records.It was her memorial, But I did photograph most the headstones there. I did not take pictures of the unreadible ones.So I sent her a message. Thanx again.

|JanisCJ||RE: Layman and Lahmon, Lhamon|
I'm still working my way through the photos and have just spotted James, a son of Catherine Lhamon Steinmetz and her Abram. There are many other Steinmetzes in this cemetery, plus a couple more Lhamons from the 20th Century. Just wanted to let you know I'll get them entered eventually, in case these are of interest. I think the oldest Lhamon markers are possibly the oldest I've ever seen in Ohio.

|JanisCJ||RE: Layman and Lahmon, Lhamon|
Wonderful! I'm still working through the 200+ pics we took today and just found Abraham and Elizabeth. These are such beautifully kept stones for their age, and I'm just learning the "foil technique," I would like to try again with foil to bring out Abraham, especially. This location is very close to home, and my husband and I both love doing this. Another member just got some pics in WV for me, some I didn't expect to see...I know how you feel. :)

Husband & I shot every marker at Hopewell Cem., and all are Lahmons instead of Laymans. Since the date of death is the same for this William as on your request, I'm taking a chance that this is the right person. There are a lot of old markers that are hard to read, some that can't be read at all, and some newer Lahmons. If you think this is the same name, please let me know.

Hi Cheryl. . Im not sure where I got the information that he was there. Maybe they were wrong and he is in the Preston cemetery or somewhere else. I know he is not at Issaquah.
Thanks for trying to find Guy
