Greg Olson
Memorial 114683498 John Olson
Hi,

Thank you for creating the memorials for my great grandfather, John Gustav Mauritz Olson and children who are buried at Fairview Cemetery in Stillwater, MN.

I would appreciative if you would transfer management to me so I can complete the entries with more information on them.

John emigrated from Stockholm to Stillwater at the age of 17 and lived in Stillwater until his death, after which his widow, Emma, decided that Stillwater was only bad luck for her, as she put it (her husband and three children had died within the pace of a few years) and she moved her family to Minneapolis.

I visit the graves each year to clean up the headstones and plan to be buried there myself someday. It's a beautiful place.

Best regards,

Greg Olson

Lillian Scheffer
Hello again! Do you know who Lillian Scheffer is? She is buried in the family plot with the other Scheffers but I do not have a Lillian in the family tree. If you have any idea who her parents or spouse is, I'd appreciate any information you can give me.

Thanks
Betsy

Catharine Shepheard
Could you please change the spelling of her name to Catharine so it matches what is on the stone? Also, are you related to Catharine? She is my 4th great grandmother. If you are not related, could you please transfer to me so I could write a short biography to add to her site?

Thanks
Betsy

Augusta Hospes
Hello,

Thank you so much for contributing the burial information for my 3rd-great grandmother Augusta Hospes. I was just wondering how you determined that her middle name was Lowell? I have always known that her middle initial was L, but your memorial is the only place I have seen the full name.

I appreciate any information!

Lindsay

Hall Family in Mount Auburn Cemetery
Hi,

I fulfilled your photo request today. There are many members of the Hall family buried in the same location, would you like to create the memorials for them or should I?

They are -

Dudley Hall 1850-1929
his wife Sarah K. Hall - 1853-1929
Dudley Hall Jr. 1880-1923
Norman W. Hall - 1897-1984
Evelyn B. Hall - 1898-1992
Harriet W. Hall - died 4-15-1905

there were 5 small stones that appear to be babies but most were not readable, one says Freddie, and there was also a small cross with the name Mary on it.

Let me know if you would like to create these memorials, I have photos of each one. Thank you.

Marvin
Karl L. Seidel
Hello again,

Found Karl L. Seidel. He married in Stillwater and died in Springfield, Missouri. So that answers that question.

Marvin
Drewke
Hi PPR,

Thank you so much for finding all that you did on the Drewke family. I didn't know about the Seidels. The 1930 Federal Census says that Elsie is a niece to Fred, Gertrude is a sister to Fred, and he has a son Karl, yet they're all single. I also found the passenger lists when they immigrated. Fred came by himself, Gertrude and Karl came together. Gertrude listed that she was going to meet up with her cousin Elsie in Stillwater. So I do not know how they are cousins, but that is very interesting to know. Haven't been able to track Karl down either after that to see who exactly he belongs to. Not sure if he stayed around Stillwater, or if he moved elsewhere.

Thank you again,

Marvin Gehrman

Hi,

the photo is incorrect as this marker belongs to another John Henry Jones. Unfortunately the name is common. Could you please remove from the memorial?

thanks,

New Richmond Cemetery
I have some information regarding your photo requests:

There is no record of Samuel Gilman being buried at this cemetery, but as I indicated on the photo request, some of the records burned up in the 1940's.

Elizabeth Gilman has a record of being buried but her stone says "Lizzie", and the dates match up.

Betsey Palmer also has a stone as "Mrs. Samuel" with the dates also matching.

Nancy Staples is listed as the "wife of Silas" and those dates seem to be off by a year.

The problem is that this cemetery is not plowed during the winter months unless there is a funeral, so I will (if someone else has not) take the photos in the spring. If you think that these are not accurate, please leave me a message so that I know not to take the photo.

Thank you!

Bannister baby
Hi again,
I just noticed you created a memorial for a Bannister baby with the date May 1898. That is so wonderful for you to do that. I had no idea there was another grave there. You are truly a very special person. Thanks again, Rebecca Ott

Bannister graves
Hi,
THANK YOU for photographing the graves of Frank, Rose and Orson Bannister and their monument at the New Richmond Cemetery!!!! That is so nice of you to do this!!! I hope they weren't too hard to find as I think it is quite a large cemetery. And the pictures are very clear---perfect! Rebecca Ott
