Thank you very much.

Leo Lorraine
Hi: I was at the Clarion Library today and looked up Leo Lorraine. He is buried in the Catholic Cemetery next to his parents. The only stone there is laying (buried) in the ground. I do have a photo so if you want to change the cemetery I will post or can just send you.

Thanks.

Betsy

Mount Olive photo requests
Hi. I will be going to Mount Olive cemetery over the next 3 or 4 weeks (weather permitting) to take photos of my relatives grave sites and I saw you had a request(s). If you would call the cemetery office (number on the front page of the cemetery page) and get the location of the burial, I will try to get the photo request for you while I am there. Just add it to your memorial in the plot section. They are very helpful at the office. Kathy

Pat Sproat
Robert Sproat
Robert Sproat is a relative, and we have that
he is buried in the Dorr cemetery with the
rest of his family his children and his wife
Sarah Miller, I am not sure there is a Sproat
Cemetery would you please let me know about
this, I believe you may think Dorr ceme. as being
a Sproat cem. there was a Sproat school and
it was not far from the cemetery.
If you will look you can see what I have on
Robert Sproat and get this cleared up and
correct what needs to be corrected.
The cemetery at one time could have been called
this, but I think now its known as the Dorr Cem.
Thank you Pat

New Picture
Thank you so very much for adding the picture! I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. I haven't seen the grave in so long that I forgot what we each etched into the cement. Why I never took a picture I don't know, but it's so comforting to see it again.
If you ever need photo's from Ventura County in California don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you!

RE: Thank you
You are most welcome.

There was also a stone next to Edward's with "Mother" Elizabeth M. Peterson Mar 7 1922.
I didn't post it on findagrave as there was no death date and I did not know if Elizabeth was still alive.
I can send you the photo if you like or if you know that Elizabeth has died I can post it on Findagrave.

RE: Leads on Case family?
Hi Kim, Yes I did find you on ancestry.com so that gave me a better idea what you already have:) We have birth records at the Old Rugged Cross, so I'll start there for the "Case" names. I have relative in the Greenwood Cemetery in Marion, MI, also I have relatives in the Ionia area, so will see what I can find there too. Not sure when I'll be going again, but I take my mom to Lansing so hope to stop by then I see what I can find for you.

RE: Leads on Case family?
Hi Kim, I would be glad to do research for you on the case family. I live not very far from Old Rugged Cross Museum where there are birth records, Obit, and Etc. Also, even closer to the Osceola County Court House. I do the Obit at the museum. Been researching since 1999. I will start looking for the two names you mentioned (Helen and Carlos) and if you have other names to do, just let me know. I also have the Hulliberger line on ancestry.com. If you give me your email address, I can add the info for the case line on it too. If you don't have ancestry.com, I can invite you to my tree for you to see:) My email is judy1042@yahoo.com

RE: Saranac transfer requests
Sorry for the delay getting back to you. My M-I-L suffered a stroke out of state so I needed to get her so she can live with us.

Let me catch up to myself and I'll get all of the transfers done - If you don;t have them by noon tomorrow, grab a 2x4 and whap me along side the head - I've been slipping into "Homer Simpson" mode for the last few days - sheeesh!

Toodles,

Mike

None to be forgotten
RE: Thanks for trying!
Well, I'm still pretty much where I was when I wrote before. I called everywhere I could think of to find a board member. However, I could not find one! The city told me to call the cemetery (like that would get me any where - the guy who wouldn't help me before is the one that answers the phone!); the chamber of commerce told me to call a funeral home and ask them for a contact - guess who they told me to call? Ditto! The Historical Society - who does a "Cemetery Walk" there every year had no clue who to call . . . That's Winona for you! (I'm originally from Minneapolis) Did I tell you the guy I talked to actually accused me of trying to play a trick on him? I still have that recording on my machine and was going to play it for the board. I got into doing my dad's genealogy and am back to the 1400's so haven't spent any recent time on FindaGrave. I haven't exactly given up but I scraped together enough money to buy a 30-day membership on Ancestry.com so have to really concentrate on that right now to get my money's worth. Try me again in another month or so. It took me 23 years to find my great, great grandmother so I don't give up easily!

RE: Gates photos
Roswell Stevens will take a little more time. I need to talk with the Township Clerk again about grave location. There was a Rosweel Stevens whose grave was moved which I could not locate. I found a Roswell Stevens son of A & MA Stevens who died Sept 9, 1969 at 14 years, 8 months, 21 days.

It is amazing how many "typos" you come across when doing geneology. Sometimes I think we just get tired...

RE: Pence's
Yes, all of the Pence's in Trail Cemetery are somehow related I think. If you want, you can transfer them to me (#46797913), or I can send you links and extra info to put on their memorials.

Thanks so much for the extra help,
Clinton

RE: Thanks so much!
You're quite welcome. I found other Rasmussen's at Maple Grove Cemetery and will post those photos this weekend. Halfdan (very interesting name!) and Ruth Rasmussen are buried in the Maple Lawn section of Maple Grove Cemetery. I've added their Sec., Lot & Grave in the photo captions - in case you wanted to add to their memorials.

Would love it...especially if you write a note on the bottom with the explaination that you just wrote...going with the order on the photo, so anyone who sees it would understand.
Thank you...NO RUSH.
