Rocchio / Calvary

I was able to fulfill your Rocchio photo requests from a few years ago today, at Calvary Cemetery. A few things: according to the office, Frank died in 1954, not 1944, and was buried on 11/27/1954. Additionally (and this is crucial if you ever want to locate this headstone again) - the burial location is: Section 41, Range 3, Plot C, Grave 10. Calvary is one of the largest cemeteries in the world, so - without that location - it would be impossible. I hope the pictures are helpful - how wonderful that there's a photograph (albeit in somewhat poor condition) of Michelina. Best, M

I visited Brushy Fork Cemetery today (Memorial Day) 2014 and photographed the stone for Sarah M. Knight, wife of J.L. Knight. If you still want a copy of this stone, email me at: and I'll sent it to you.

Hello Floyd,
The engraving on the stone was very weathered and difficult to read, however I was able to add the inscribed words with the photo. Just double click the photo.

When I was taking photos, I noticed one right next to them, Cyriel G. LaRoy, I made a mem. Roselawn Mem. Park #82076747. It seemed as if should be related as Nettie's stone had LaRoy as middle name. If of interest let me know. Request the picture and I will upload, and let me know of reguest, otherwise I will take my time on it, with the holidays.

The pictures are on the memorials for Norris and Elmer and I added Anise Lee Harper since I had the picture for her. If you find she is part of your family, I will gladly transfer her to you.

Harpers in Centerton Cemetery
In a line with similar stones were Anise Lee Harper 1892-1960, Norris E 1896-1908,Elmer 1867-1941,and Amy H 1894. I took pictures of all of these stones in case you needed them as well. Mary and Myrtle were at each end so I assume they are family. Let me know if I can upload them to a memorial for you.

You're welcome. I also just added another stone that is located in front of the stone shared with his wife. If you don't want it on his memorial, feel free to delete it. Since it was in the same location, I thought you might want it also. I'm new to this so I'm not sure what to send:)

Glad I could help you. I am kind of new into this most interesting activity. The reward in going to remote sites and finding what is being sought is most gratifying.
I see you have several 'Harper' requests posted for sites in Morgan County. These are within 20 miles of me and I will see what I can find on some of these soon.

I had claimed this photo but you added it. I am asking for it to be removed or I will ask Find A Grave to remove it due to me claiming it and I had fourteen days to photograph which was not up.

I should have sent you a message to let you know that in addition to the Harpers, there were Kings and Baggs in the same lot at Crown Hill. I added photographs to the memorials.

You are very welcome. I have been into genealogy for a long time and enjoy doing it. Are you related to the Goatleys or Meeks? My husband is a descendant of John Goatley.
