Robert L. Bridges
On Dec. 19, 2016 you placed a scanned copy of a newspaper article/obituary on the memorial for Robert L. Bridges, memorial 10386656, who was a family member of mine and whose memorial I maintain.

According to Find A Grave rules, scanned newspaper articles or obituaries are not to be placed in the photo section of a memorial for an individual. Find A Grave rules state the photo section is reserved for headstone/grave photos or personal photos of the person the memorial is for.

In my Find A Grave profile I have also stated not to place scanned articles in the photo section of memorials I maintain since it is against Find A Grave rules.

Thank you for your cooperation and help in deleting the scanned article from Robert L. Bridges, memorial 10386656, memorial page.

Obt or Marie Mathieu Trochesset Moran
Thank you for posting my husband's great, grandmother's obit. I have read previous responses to you. For the life of me, I do not understand why some people are against this. As a note about her grandsons being in the Armed Forces in 1942, all came home, except James Trochesset. He was the son of Albert B and Josephine Velcich Trochesset, my late mother's-in-law brother. Should you find other obits for our family members, please post.

Keep up your excellent work in all areas,

Beryl Ann W Krefft

Elsie Wixon Memorial
Dear Raoul:
I wish to thank you for your contributions to the memorial of Elsie Landry Wixon. (Photo and obituary) I should also note that your extensive contributions to all of the genealogies of the coast are so greatly appreciated. After reading your bio, I will be looking for and anticipating reading your publications. Just wanted you to know how much your work means to so many. Thank you! Cindy Sullivan (aka hollidaywoman)

RE: Maps of Biloxi City Cemetery
Thanks so much. I suspected there was a reason. Maybe if I get the plot information entered, at least others in the future can put in Problem Reports saying they're unmarked graves and the requests will go away.
I wish there was a way we could communicate the information you gave me directly, linked to the cemetery record. A little coordination could save many people a lot of duplicating work. I know this sight is against coordinating because it leads to control. I would just love to leave a message at the cemetery page that says "On this date, Jill Wave completely photographed this cemetery and the records left are unmarked graves or they aren't in this cemetery".
Any suggestions?

Maps of Biloxi City Cemetery
Hi! I'm in Mobile and was planning a trip over to BIloxi to the cemetery. I saw there were 265 photo requests. Is there somewhere that I can look up the locations of plots in that cemetery? Book at the library maybe? Is there an office at the site that could help me? If I get plot info, are there plot maps available anywhere?
I guess if there was a simple answer to all these questions, there wouldn't be 265 outstanding photo requests! I've been working one cemetery with markers flat on the ground for the last 7 months and was interested in seeing something different and helping some of the 200 people waiting for photos.
Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks. Jill

Obituary scans as photos on memorials
Good morning!

Please be advised that adding scans of obituary notices and/or newspaper articles as memorial photographs is specifically forbidden in the site rules.

Accordingly, please remove the scan you've added to Norbert Langlinais' memorial. Thank you!

He delivered our son in 1955 and I have often wondered what happened to him.

RE: John Albert Gary
I appreciate you reaching out. Can I ask which paper the obit was published in?

John Albert Gary
Thanks for the comment about the birthplace of John Gary. John is my great2 grandfather. Both John and his sister Ruth were born in Mississippi. Although Ruth moved to Hawkinsville later in life, John lived his entire life in Mississippi. His sister had his remains buried in Georgia. Most likely to be closer to her. Not sure why the obit says what it says but it is not correct.
