appreciative thanks
Hi Kilmarnock - I just wanted to say thanks very much indeed for posting photos of the gravestone for Rev George Bell - my great great grandfather! I stumbled on this grave/cemetery site almost by accident and it's really good to see the memorial. I have been intending a trip to Newcastle to gather some more information for some time now and this gives me a wee hand with some extra knowledge before I do that.
I just wanted to send this message to show my appreciation and to confirm what you probably know (or at least hope) already - that your efforts and time are well spent! Great stuff, well done and thank you! Jan

Hi Kilmarnock

I am a fellow genealogist whose own research is now winding down and am looking for something else,
I would like to continue the work done by yourself and wondered if you remember what part of the graveyard you took your photos?

Sarah Alice Pollard
Thank you for all the work you do, the amount is amazing. I have submitted an edit that Sarah's (#79676620) first husband was William Mitchell #79676414 and her second husband was Joseph Tempest Pollard #79676553. I am currently working on my ancestry and my wife's. My maternal family ancestry is Pollard. Would you be so kind as to transfer the above memorials to me, my number is 49048706. Thanks so much.

Isabella Carr
Thank you so much for the photos and page on Isabella Carr buried at All Saints Cemetery in Newcastle. I discovered the page and photos you had made a couple of days before we traveled to the UK from the US last year. We were able to make it to the cemetery and eventually found the grave. I believe all of Isabella's siblings settled in Quebec and eventually in the US. Thanks again!

Rev. Robert Bell
Hi thank you for your work. Would you know if the Rev. Robert Bell that you built a memorial in Gray friars Kirkyard is the son of John Bell of Edinburgh?

RE: Brackley Wood Burial Ground
Thank you-I'll take a chance and add the two wargraves. My map says it is between Grogport and Carradale.

Loring Wells
Cornelius and Nora (Casey) Murray

I am writing to you with the hopes - when you have time, you might be able to help me.

I am trying to find their graves. A cousin, told me they are both buried in the cemetery at St. Coleman's, but they are not listed on the web page for St. Coleman's in Macroom.

His name is Cornelius Murray, died July of 1948, and her name, Nora Casey Murray, died about 1951.

They lived in Curraleigh. They had a dairy there. It is now owned by a cousin, Connie.

Since I live in America and do not see a trip to Ireland in the near future, I was hoping to 1) add their names to the register on the web page and 2) get some images of where they are resting, and possibly tomb stones, through the web site.

Thank you so much for your time,

Loring Wells

Newcastle-upon-Tyne Burials
Hi! Kilmarnock, Thought you may know as I am trying to find where my Grandmother & Uncle & Aunts are buried in the above area.
As there are several cemeteries & and wondered if you know if there is any way to find out where they would be buried.
Could also be in different cemeteries, and possibly no headstones, as the family wasn’t very well off.
After all of these died, my father followed by my Grandfather & brothers, came out to Australia for a new start.
If I can find the graves & they are unmarked, I possibly could have some plaques made.
Wondered if anybody out there could advise what to do.
Great photos you have taken, pity none of the Young’s are mine.
Info from Birth & Death Certificates I have.
My Grandmother:
Mary YOUNG, nee KEENAN, born.13 Feb 1872, Derwent St, Cockermouth, Cumberland, England, died 20 May 1913, 75 Donnison Street, Dunston, Northumberland, England. (husband Simpson Brown YOUNG, died in Australia)
Their Children buried in that area:
Eva YOUNG, born, 24 Jan 1897, Cockermouth, Cumberland, England, died, 22 Aug 1898, 902 Scotswood Rd. Newcastle-On-Tyne, England.
Georgina YOUNG, born, 7 Jul 1898, Scotswood Rd, Newcastle-on-Tyne, England. Died abt.1919, poss Northumberland, England??? (cant find a death but Dad, her brother said she died about 20yo)
Florence YOUNG, born, 15 Jun 1903, New Stevenston, Lanarkshire, Scotland, died, 31 Dec 1904, 70 Edward Gardens, Benwell, Newcastle on Tyne, England.

All Saint's Cemetery
Thank you so much for the photos of the tombstones of Isabella (Peacock) Carr, Amelia Isabella and Joseph Forster and their children at All Saints Cemetery in Newcastle. I found your post a few days before leaving the states for England this last June. As a result we were able to find the tombstone at All Saints Cemetery. Isabella was my Great, great-grandfather's sister.

Keil Cemetery
Just found your photo for Keil Cemetery in Scotland and want to say THANK YOU!! What an awesome contribution to find a grave. I believe this cemetery is the resting spot of my earliest known ancestor, Neil McNeil 1634-1685. Many, many sincere thanks for all of your contributions and especially this one that is so dear to my heart.

Thank you for the offer, but he's the brother-in-law of a 1st cousin of one of great aunts, so no real connection. As I became aware of the data I thought I'd pass it on. And thank you for all your time & effort creating the memorials. Kind regards Tony (Australia)
