Find A Grave Photo Request / Elias MLAYS
Hi, I'm happy to fulfill your Find A Grave request to photograph the headstone of Elias MLAYS at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA. Because there are more than 100 open requests for this cemetery, please call the cemetery's office at 310-836-5500 and get the specific plot number of the grave--I can't go to their office and ask for the locations of 100+ graves! :-)

Once you've got the location, message it to me and I'll go take the picture as soon as I can.

I will be heading to the cemetery this Sunday so if I get your location information by then, I will be happy to post your photos then.

RE: Andrew Johnson
That would be wonderful. My Great-Grandfather who kept the mission scrapbook is Holger M. Sanders. So Andrew is related to you? If you wouldn't mind sending me an email, I also have some group missionary photos that Andrew should be in and maybe some news articles with him listed. I'll have to double check on that though. Thanks!

RE: Andrew Johnson
I am not related to Andrew or Ellen. My Great-Grandfather kept a scrapbook of his mission companions in Sweden and Andrew was one of them. I thought it might be fun share these mission photos.

Edwin Frederick Anderson
I am trying to find out information about Edwin Frederick Anderson (b. 1911) who seems to have been adopted by the parents of Carl Hilmer and Alvin Anderson.

Relatives of Edwin in Sweden are trying to learn more about him and his brother Melvin Pearson/Parson (b. 1912) who was adopted by an Emil Forsberg family in Salt Lake City--after the boys' mother died in 1913.

It appears that the two boys' biological parents were Frederick and Gerda Anderson Pearson/Parson.

I hope you might be able to shed some light on the subject! Many thanks.

Do want your credit to read "Happy to Share" or would like to see your name in print?

John Thomas Coop
I would like permission to use your tombstone photo of John in a story that I am doing on "Killing" Jim Miller. Coop was his brother-in-law and his first of many victims. You would get photo credit in the story and, with an email address, get a copy of the story. Thank you.

Ellen Anderson, #58513
Sorry to bother you but I was looking at Ellen's Find A Grave memorial. I love looking at old pictures of houses. Do you know if this house is still standing and where it is?

Although I cannot remember exactly, I think that someone sent me the photo in relation to her mother. They were wanting more information on the family since I had done the survey on Harrold Cemetery, Wilbarger County, TX, and thought that I might know more.

Nephi & Etta Thulin
I've posted the photo you requested for Nephi Thulin and also have one for his wife, Etta Donna Thulin, but she doesn't have a listing yet. She's on the back of his stone. If you create a listing for her, I will gladly upload the photo.

Mary Casey
I took a photo of where Mary Casey's grave is, however there is no head stone. Woodlawn lays out graves in most sections as the addition, then section. Within the section are lines, which are just that, a line with 6 graves on the east side of the line and 6 on the west side of the line. Susan E, wife of John Casey is in CP1-I-line 17-5W, so Mary's would be right behind her. I have a photo where you can see Susan's grave, Mary's is inbetween her and the tree behind her.

" Sister" Val Jean Hinds Farrar
Was she a nun, or genetic sister to ...

I wonder if you can report your comment to make the distinction even more clear.

I am a Farrar looking into Fred Farrar, buried in the same cemetary as Val Jean, so am looking at all persons who may have possibly been married to Fred. Is Val Jean his daughter? Do you know who was his wife?
Thank you.

This is a huge cemetery and its hard to find any grave without a section/plot. I may be able to go over and look later this fall once I have a list of names with plots.

In the meantime I found this great site that lists all the graves at this cemetery and a transcription of the headstones! This may tell you what you need to know without a photo.

I am in NO WAY connected with this site. I found it while looking for a Plat Map to help with filling photo requests.
