Douglas C. Johnson
Memorial Image
Hi,
My name is Douglas C. Johnson (Find A Grave #47683562) and I was wondering if I could have your permission to use your photograph of the graves of Glenn E. Heise and Mable Heise (maiden name unknown) at Roselawn Cemetery in Lakeland, Polk County, Florida on the FamilySearch Family Tree website. I would of course list it with full credit given to you for the use of the image.
Thank You,
Doug

1858 Journal Entries Mentioning Cyrus and Betsey Packard
Hi! I'm writing a novel, ROSETTE, based on the 1856-1858 journal of Rosette Cordelia Ramsdell Churchill of Ionia County, and in the journal she mentions Cyrus and Betsey coming to her parents' home, so that Betsey could hold a "spiritual manifestations" meeting. If you're interested in seeing that excerpt, please visit RosetteBook.com and click on the Journal Blog entry for 1858. I have a couple of other mentions of Cyrus in the journal as well, if you'd like to correspond with me about those.

Also, in the novel I refer to Betsey as Sally Richardson Ramsdell's cousin but have only the connection that Cyrus Packard's sister was married to a Ramsdell. Do you have any other info on that connection?

Thank you!

RE: Maud Packard
Maud Packard, who married Harry Andrews was my sister-in-law's great grandmother, via their daughter June Andrews.. I was researching the family for her.

Is it Maud V or Maud P?

Did Hervey Packard have a sister Maud Packard? I see her in the 1880 census.. and I am tracing her line...

asking permission to use headstone photos of my family
Thank you for being a Photo Volunteer. You are doing so much to help others. I believe if a person spends their time and efforts taking the headstone photo they should be given credit for it which I always do. I was wondering if you would give me permission to use your photo elsewhere as long as I give you credit for taking them.
Have a wonderful Day!
Sincerely,
Karen

Everett- Scott
Am trying to piece together my Grand mother's( Helen Wales) maternal side of the family. Her mother was Alice Dickerson Brown, Alice's mother was Helen Marr Scott Dickerson. They were related to William Everett I think through his wife, Cynthia Scott Everett (#16247185). My grand parents visited a Charles Everett in Michigan. Elizabeth Cranson was his sister. I'm wondering if you have anything on the Scott's that you could help me with, regards, Larry Wales

Abigail Packard
Hello,

I'm wondering how I may find Abigail Packard's grave. If my information is correct, she was born in 1733 to John Packard and Lydia Tomson Packard.
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=42311960

She married George Packard in 1766 after his first wife passed away in 1765. http://plymouthcolony.net/bridgewater/nehgr/19202.html

She is the link to the Packard-Cooke connection so I'm keen on establishing lineage.

They had several children and their son George is buried in the Underhill Flats Cemetery. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=99167224

It would be interesting for many of their descendants to find her.

Thanking in advance,

Kim Packard

Lydia "Tomson" Packard (68265775)
Morning!
Can you shed light on what looks like two distinct grave markers for Lydia? Trying to get an accurate death date - seem to be lots of differences not only on the headstones but in the literature as well! Thanks for any thoughts and insight...

I didn't have a picture for the gravestone of Mary Edith Foster and her husband John Pfister (my great grandparents from my dad's dad's side) your picture is lovely :)

If you don't mind, may I copy your photo for my Ancestry entry for them?

Was Carolyn Buried in section 6? If so Yes I do have the large memorial stone they dedicated to all those that are buried there. I will try to post one of the pics onto her page. if it says there isn't enough room I'll let you know. If that does happen can you delete the cemetery picture from her page? that way you don't have to lose any of her pictures.
talk to you soon.

Wobrock
Hi,
I have another question for you on the Wobrock family. I was going through some of the trees on Ancestry.com and found one that lists my great great grandfather August Wobrock, as the son of Ferdinand and Augustine, which I knew, but it also gave some of his brothers and sisters such as Frances, Bertha, Anton, Anastasia, and Joseph. I was wondering if you might have any info. on any of these names. Also it says that Ferdinand born 1830 was the son of an Albert and Antonia Wobrock. I had seen in a marriage cert. that Ferdinand was the son of an Anton and Antonia, could it be that Anton and Albert are the same person? If so, it would make sense because I came across a Find A Grave memorial for a Caroline who was born 1834 and was the daughter of Anton, # 98140263

Thanks for any and all help,
Daniel Pletcher

re your: Wayland Hare and Elsie
Hi Cheri, unfortunately, I did not create the spouse link that you are referring to or the memorial for Elsie.
***********
I've asked the Harrises to remove the link, but you are the one who has to make the link from Wayland to his mother Elsie. Hopefully sometime you can do that.
