|rbkingjr||Rachel Hawkins Headstone|
Regretfully, I must inform you that a headstone does not remain for Rachel Hawkins in the ABANDONED Oak Grove Cemetery. The cemetery has not had a burial in it since 03 Sep 1974 and before that it was 1944 since the last burial.
I was able to find the joint headstone of David Hawkins and his daughter Lizzie with the two marker stones yet they were the only Hawkins remaining.
Is there any chance Rachel Hawkins married a James Stocker and may have been buried as Amanda Stocker? This woman, Amanda Stocker, was the only one born in 1839 - yet she died in 1914 instead of 1913.

The memorial number isn't right. 15539540 is correct, but 25619035 is not. It keeps telling me there is no such memorial.

There are other Dinning graves at this site too if you are looking for their information. It looks like Robert's wife Ida is here also. http://www.usgwarchives.net/mi/tsphoto/ionia/highlandpark/highlandpark_D.htm

You are more than welcome. It actually is a picture I took in 2013. Did you do the posting for Bertha Minerva (William's wife). If so, I believe you have the wrong family. Bertha Minerva was the daughter of William H and Sarah Anderson Riddle who are buried in the same cemetery. She was a sister to Suda Mae Riddle Carter and William was a brother to Suda's husband Charles Christopher Carter.
There is a request for a photo of William H Riddle's tombstone which I will take when I am at the cemetery on Memorial Day.
William H Riddle's brother, Barnett Alan Riddle, was my great grandfather.

You are most welcome and kind. I'm not content with the glare of sunlight on the headstone, but there I was in the cemetery with a camera at noon. I'll be returning soon to clean and rephotograph this headstone!
