Thank you so very much for trying to locate this gravestone. I guess it may be unmarked. But I really appreciate all your time and trouble.

RE: Photos of Nelsons
Hello Luisa

I did a quick search on my FTM program and only found one Perkins in my family tree.

Charles Stuart Perkins who married Marjorie Hillis Grant, she was born 18 Jan 1913. I do not have any information on Charles but I do have more information on his wife's family if you are interested.

As for specific Nelson Names, I will be more than happy with any photos you can take of any of the Nelsons. One other member has already sent a few photos of Catherine, Daniel and Martha.

Thank you
Troy

Martin Weybright
RE: Any information on Ybrights?
Hi,
Thanks for your message.
This is the first time I've seen or heard the name Ybright, but it could be an attempt to replicate the original German pronunciation of the name. Old German spellings were something like "Weibrecht," which would have been pronounced like "vi brecht."

In America the brecht part became bright, and the Wei became Wey and then Way.
I looked on Ancestry.com to see if I could find George Ybright, but only found James Madison Ybright.

To my knowledge the first Weibrecht family landed at Philadelphia in 1730 and settled in Lancaster, PA. Practically all of the Weybrights-Weybrights are descended from this family.

It would be interesting to see if a connection to the Ybrights can be found.

Thanks again.

St Phillips
Hi ..
I went to St Phillips this AM and added a few photos to the Haight names...
I was unable to locate Sarah Nelson Haight- There are so many badly eroded stones in that area of the yard- First row from the church's right side - North(?) side facing the highway.
The sun was coming from due east, so the stones facs were shaded- maybe a later time of the day would be better.

RE: Photos of Nelsons
Hello Luisa

It is very kind of you to offer to take photos of gravestones for me. I can't believe with six children, you find any time at all for genealogy research.
I have a book called History of St. Philips Church in the Highlands, Garrison, N.Y. Including up to 1840, St. Peter's Church on the Manor of Courtlandt, by E. Chorley, 1912.
The Nelson family have been involved with this church since it's conception. All the Nelson's in that church graveyard are related to my family. On the find a grave website, there are a few headstone photos already listed.
I would be very happy with any photos you may be able to take from that church.
Please let me know what family genealogy research you are doing for your family and I will see if I have any information. I also collect rare and old books on New York history that relate to my family members, perhaps there is information I can share with you.

Thanks in advance for any assistance you can offer and let me know if I can be f assistance to you.
