If there's ever another dry day in Portland, I'll do some exploring in Sec 35. If you find any more information, let me know.

Section 35 has hundreds, if not thousands of graves. Do you have a Lot #? Other family members buried close by to use as locators? Without a more definitive location, a search would be useless. I've looked at Metro records and they have nothing to add.

RE: Gardner Family
Hello Debra,

My daughter is 2nd and 3rd cousin 3 times removed. Shirt tail cousins as some would call them. Ester Keel, her 1st cousin 4x removed born 1897 and died 1983 married Herbert Gardner. That is how the line started and branches out from there. Are you on Ancestery.com? I found several Florene Gardner listed on Ancestry.com but don't know if they are your grandma. Do you have her date of her birth and death? Also the name of her father and his date of birth and death. I will do a search for you.

Dessie Gardner - Plainview Memorial Park
Just a friendly note to say thank you for the information on Dessie Gardner Smythe. She is in the family tree as Gardner with names as Smythe, Carl, Clayton; didn't know what name to use on her Find A Grave memorial page. She distantly related, my father's 3th cousin 4x removed. I will keep her memorial page on Find A Grave that I added. Most of the Gardner's buried in Plainview Memorial Park; I added to find a grave, are related one way or the other. Again, thank you.

Debbie, I have transferred management of the above memorials to your care since they are your ggrandparents. There are five additional Tarpley graves in Shannon Cemetery. I assume they are all related. The other five are Effie, George T., Hettie, Tom, and Walter J. If you are related to these also, I would be happy to transfer management of them to you. Regards, Allene Threadgill, Sec-Treas. Shannon Cemetery

Forest Home Cemetery - Milwaukee
If you want this request filled you need to contact the cemetery and find out the plot number and add it to the memorial. The office will not help anyone who walks in. But I been told they are very helpful on the phone.

Plus FH is the largest cemetery in the city.
