Hello. Do you know much about the Love family from Crawford County? If so, we should talk.

Dyer's in Dyer Cemetery.
There were 2 different Dyer cemeteries recorded in Oct 2012 when I began creating the 7 memorials. They had different addresses, but, as it turned out, the cemetery photograph were one in the same. And, historically, it was also known as Carney-Dyer Cemetery as you'll note on the cemetery page. So, it has taken awhile to get the cemeteries combined. Thanks again.

Thank you for letting me know. It means that the two cemeteries have now been combined. I will begin the edit process to update the old ones with the info I located. I truly appreciate it. Sincerely, Marsha Moon

Jesse Glasgow
Hello Judy,

I am researching the Glasgow name out of Stewart County and Currituck County, North Carolina. They are actually part of my husband's family. I wanted to give you a piece of information that you may or may not want to put on the Jesse Glasgow memorial that is buried in Dover Cemetery. I have received a packet of information from the Stewart County Archives that are a bunch of reciepts that were at one time in the possession of Jesse Glasgow. Not sure how these records ended up in the archives but they are great!! They were all inside a packet or envelope and on the front it says "Died March 1892". I have taken this to mean that Jesse Glasgow died at this time but of course I don't have any other documentation that this is true. Also in a publication entitled "Reynolds History Annotated 1475-1977" by William Glasgow Reynolds he notes that "Jesse died in 1892 according to his gravestone which is located in Cumberland City Cemetery", so I am not even sure Jesse is buried in the Dover Cemetery. Of course I have no 100% proof of any of this, just what I have said above. Wanted to pass this along to you though just in case.

My husband is related to Jesse Glasgow through his Grandmother Ruth Burcham, her father was Cody Cosby Burcham and his parents were James Daniel Burcham and Almeda Ann Glasgow, Almeda being the daughter of Jesse Glasgow

Roberson family
What branches of Robersons are you researching. Mine came to Missouri via Tennessee and settled in Gasconade County, Missouri.
