Sarah Whitlock
Hi, Cindy! You have a photo request for Sarah Whitlock in the Howell Cemetery in Raytown. Do you have an address for that cemetery? When I google it, I find only that it is located at Section 17, Township 48, Range 32W. I've been looking at maps and know where that section is located, but I don't see any small cemeteries, only Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Perhaps it's there and too small to show up on the map I found. I'll be glad to take the photo if I can find the cemetery.

RE: Grave site for John Anson Gurley
The information that I have came from visiting the Court Houses in the areas and cemeteries. I started before computers. When you hold the records in your hands and read the information it really means more to you. I know that not everyone can do the research. I really enjoyed being able to do that and it made me feel so much closer. Hope this will help you. Margie

RE: Grave site for John Anson Gurley
HI, Thanks, anything that will help to get the word around that John Gurley is not John Anson Gurley. I've found so many that have that information on their web sites, and it is wrong. I will appreciate any help. Margie

Grave site for John Anson Gurley
This person was not named John Anson Gurley. His name was John and he had a brother named Anson. Someone got this mixed up. I'm not sure if John is buried in this cemetery, as I've never found a place where he was buried. He was married to Mary Wiggs. His brother, Anson was married to Martha Toler. It would maybe help clear up many of the ones that have John Anson listed on their family pages. Thank you very much. Margie Abbe

They actually deleted one of the people, but there are 2 more that I hope they watch. I did message the person that posted the photo, as they are new and perhaps don't understand about the whole claiming thing.

Nancy Crays
Gurley & McIntire
Cindy, thanks for creating memorials for and posting photos of my great grandparents: Nancy Jane Gurley and Joseph H. McIntire.

First, I am wondering if we are related. My mother was Nancy Elizabeth McIntire (married name was Schaefer) and my grandfather was Fred E. McIntire.

Second, my mother said her grandfather's name was Joseph Henderson McIntire, not Joseph Henry. I have a copy of his death certificate which my grandfather signed and it confirms that his middle name was Henderson.

Hipp Large upright Headstone
Cindy: I am wondering what is on the other side of the large upright Hipp headstone....? I noticed in the Hipp Cemetery plots photo that you provided that all the upright headstones are facing the other way, in other words we are looking at the back of the upright large Hipp headstone...that is why you don't read any names on the face other than HIPP.

My husband and I have our headstone in the ground and on the back it reads only GEORGE, this is why I thought maybe Phoebe's name might be on the other side...we have a 4 plot site at the cemtery and our headstone is for 4 family names our 2 sons and our names...

Thank you for your time.

Hipp Photos
Cindy: Thank you again for going to Waxahachie City Cemetery and taking the Hipp family photos.

I have two other requests at the same cemetery and am wondering if you can assist as you know you way around the Hipp family area. Both ladies were married to William Ellison Hipp at different times. Both are buried at the cemetery and should be close to the rest of the Hipp's there.

Again, Thank you for your time, if you can't make it to the cemetery or fulfill this request we truely understand.

Respectfully,
Betty Jean and the Pendleton Family

Hi Cindy - Photos as you know are now up. RD's side faces north and Dorothy's side faces south. They are in Section I as in India, not one(1). Yes, I know it is hard to tell with most computer fonts :) -- Laurel

R D McNeil at Fort Bliss, El Paso, TX
Hello Cindy,

You currently have a photo request for R D McNeil at Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, TX. He is buried with his wife. Go ahead and create her memorial at this cemetery (it currently does not exist)and place a separate photo request for her. I will then post the photos. They share a 2-sided marker.

Paro transfers
Cindy,

I am in the middle of a massive project and the Paro's that you are requesting are a part of that project. I am hoping to finish the project this year and would like to ask that you request the transfers at a later date.

Thank you,
Pat

Willard in Evergreen
I looked for your Willard request in Evergreen's Section 12, to no avail. I found Mahlen Shepard, who is three lots away in Section 12, so Dana Willard should have been noticable.
