|Jeri Herbert||RE: Howard Schneider|
When he dies, I will try to remember to let you know. But someone else might grab him when they see his obit in the paper. There are more people doing that now days. When I started, I was just adding family members. Now I hardly have a chance to add family members, because I find them added before I have a chance to add them myself. Keep up the good work! ~ Jeri

Hi, I have been searching for information on my great grandfather, Henry Oliver Wood and decided to do a Google search of his name. From this search, I came across a message you had written a year ago regarding him and his first wife Louisa Serfling Wood. I was wondering if you ever did find any information on Louisa?

He was a great find!!
I always try to post the three pictures for what you said....backing up gives great perspective.
I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures and that I could help.

I hope you enjoy these pictures.
The first time by I walked right by his headstone. It was completely covered by dead grass.
Fortunetly I was able find him the second time through.
Again, I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Looked like they had big lot with family stone and only one headstone. You see in picture lot of room for one stone. I'll check with burial record's at cemetery.

Thanks for the advice & suggestions. The rest of my week is "jam packed" so this went to the top of my "to do" list. I'm sure I have a picture of Ruth so will add that also. I remember my Dad talking some about the Hinckley fire but didn't realize at the time that involved family. I'm from Henry Ambrose's 2nd wife. Lucinda (Laban Harry Lamberton). In fact their cemetery stones had sunk into the ground so far that almost covered with dirt so several years ago I had them put on new concrete bases & I did this for several of the other Lamberton stones.

Are you related to the Lamberton's? That was my maiden name. I spent some of Memorial day in the basement as tornado's were seen in my area. Thankfully all we had was a good rain.

Yes, Ruth was married to Louis Chambers. He died in the Hinckley, Minn. forest fire in 1894. Ruth escaped. I believe there was over 400 people killed in this fire. Some people were able to get on trains that came to pick up people. One of the trains caught on fire but they got across the river before it had to be put out. Ruth's 2nd husband, Noble Sherman, lost his wife, 4 children age 7 to 1 and a brother to the fire. Wonder how one survives this type of an ordeal? Should I just add this information to the obit? Open to suggestions.

Hi, Thanks for the correction & I changed it. You are right about Dora being born in 1868. Ruth didn't have a very easy life.

I transferred your Great Uncle Wilson Martin to you. I also deleted my headstone picture for Wallace Martin, as yours was better. Let me know if Wallace Martin #79925688, is your family and I will transfer.
