"Grandmother" is Adeline Hortense Abel Fey, b. April 3, 1811 in Hesse, Germany; died May 27, 1876 in Xenia. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

RE: Eckerle
Thank you for the photo of Great-Uncle Ben Eckerle's stone. Is the "Grandmother" stone next to anyone else's? I don't have any female born in 1811 in my list, although I have some names with no dates. It would seem likely that she is related somehow. Ruth

Thanks for your picture, unfortunately I can't tell if he was a 508PIR, 82nd airborne during the WW2 . I'm pretty certain he is the hero I look after , same name, same Birth year, same state ... If one day you find his obit could you contact me ?

RE: Eli and Mary Wamble Duke
Yes, I would love to have the memorials transferred to me. Thank you very much! Member Number is 46985842.

I have a question about the photo showing both the graves along with the monument. There is what seems to be a flag holder beside Eli's headstone, but only the back is showing. Do you happen to know if this is a Civil War flag marker?

Thanks again!
Ruth Ann (RR)

RE: Steele's in Woodland Xenia Oh
Thanks so much, but I thought they were already on line.
Will you check it out for me. I just was working with Estella
Steeles headstone and changed some of the information.

Harold Bryson
The links you requested have been completed. If you are related and would like the memorial transferred let me know. I created the memorial because it was on the same cemetery plot with a relative of mine. It turns out Harold and my relative (Downie) both married Collins sisters.

I had a nice talk with the woman at Woodland office on Wednesday and she told me about Sarah Ann Wolf, but didn't have dates handy. I think Sarah is a daughter as Sallie always went by Sallie and her middle initial was "E". I sent a letter to the office just today with the people buried in the plot I would like dates for and she promised to send me the information back. Thank you so much for your help!

RE: Elvira Granger Keyes photo request
I am related to a Keyes, but not sure about this family of Keyes. It is a bit of a mystery. I had found Elvira's obituary in my great grandmother's bible. According to my great grandmother's death certificate, her father was Gilbert Keyes. This Gilbert Keyes was married to Elvira at the time of my great grandmother's birth and her mother was not Elvira...hence the mystery.

I appreciate the offer to transfer them to me, but I will pass at this time. Perhaps someone that knows more about this family will request the transfer. I don't want to take it away from someone that is directly related. That was very kind of you to offer. If I find out for sure that I am related to Gilbert, and no one else has asked for a transfer, I will take you up on your offer.

I am grateful for all you have done for me and for Find A Grave. It is volunteers like you that help others connect with their ancestors.

Elvira Granger Keyes photo request

I just wanted to thank you for taking the photo of Elvira's gravestone and the Keyes family gravestones. I appreciate that so much. Are the Keyes family in your family tree by chance?

Thank you again for all the hard work you do in putting together and linking families and taking photos of their gravestones. I know it can be very time consuming. It is a tremendous help.

Have a great week!
