Sure! Happy to do it! They are posted now. Please let me know if you want any deleted.. :-)
This is a really pretty, well kept, rural cemetery.

Hello - I did finally find Ellen and Hiram Savage's stones - also their daughter Fanny Gifford -- I added photos to all their memorials. Have a nice day. Patty

Gravestones found
Hello,
I found a couple of the gravestones you were requesting for the Savage family in Milo and posted them. I'm still looking for Ellen Savage - she must be in another location. I will continue looking. I posted photos to children of Gustavus by another wife - one is on here 106876155 - there are links to the other two children on that memorial that are buried in this location (Chaucey, Boyd, Claude) if you are interested in this data.

I also have a photo of a gravestone that I am unsure what the name is on it - it may be the Harry G. that you have listed. Let me know if you want it.

Have a good day.
Patty

Went today to Fairfax City Cemetery for you.
Sorry to tell you that there is no stone for Sarah. There is one for A A Sweeney which I took a picture of. Let me know if you want me to post this and one with the surrounding hedges on her memorial page or not.

You're very welcome. As you requested, I've added a few broad photos to Celia's memorial showing the infant burial area of the cemetery as well as the approximate location of her grave.

Photo Request Congressional Cemetery: Celia Rivera (1912-1912)
I carefully searched for this grave today and regret to report that it is unmarked. It is in a section of the cemetery with many older infant burials and most of the memorial stones in this area are missing. I found the specific section but there are no markers extant in this plot. If you send me your email address I will share a few photos I took today showing the section where the grave is located.

RE: Glenwood Cemetery - Gittings
I am not related. I do have family buried at the cemetery and discovered that they were not listed online. I found my family using the cemetery cards on familysearch.org. I started transcribing these cards after finding that my family wasn't the only one missing. I am not the only person who is doing the transcribing. Like someone once said, you are never truly dead until there is no one left who remembers you. Adding these records is one way to keep these people alive in spirit.

You are very welcome! A name like "Elenor," it's possible she herself sometimes spelled it the more traditional way!

Aunt Carol is searching for photos of her grandparents, George Bernard and Bessie. Carol is the daughter of Mary Bernice Alvey Grimes. (Found out her name was Mary Bernice, not Bernice Margaret as Find a Grave states.)

Anyway, Aunt Carol is fighting cancer right now so I'm not sure how soon she'll get to looking at photos. Her daughter, Jackie, is helping me with this.

Just a FYI update.

RE: photos
Hi there,

Well, lets see. I am the grand daughter of Bernice M. Alvey Grimes. Her father was George Benard Alvey who married Bessie Moore.

My father was the son of Bernice, Thomas Eldridge Grimes, Jr.

I'm not sure if we're closely realated or not since I don't know how you are related to the family! lol

The photos I was referring to were Bernard Alexander and William Thomas Alvey. I believe these men would have been my grandmothers cousins.
They are the only ones I've come across that say "GM" on them.

I have worked on genealogy forever, it seems, but never worked on my fathers line. You see, my father was a horrible alcoholic and we really weren't around him and his parents alot.

William Thomas Alvey is in Clinton, MD, at Resurrection Cemetery. Benard is in Burial:
Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD. I grew up in PG County, in Suitland.

I am in Arizona now but am taking a 4 day trip back to MD in 3 weeks for a wedding, then again in April for 2 weeks to watch my grandsons while my daughter goes out of town.

Unfortunately I won't have time to visit cemeteries.

Dear "GM",

I am researching my paternal grandmothers line of Alvey. I have found several photos added by yourself and I wasn't sure if it was ok to copy them for my files.

This account says I've been doing this 13 yrs or something like that, but I've just taken it over from my mother who is deceased and I'm not sure what the "rules" are.

Would you mind if I copy the photos that you have added?

By the way, my grandmother was Bernice M. Alvey Grimes.

Thanks,

Marsha Grimes Phipps

You're quite welcome; it's a pleasure to assist. Sorry there isn't more to show for it. I would offer to send you a photo of the burial record, but as I recall the microfilm copy is very poor quality. Perhaps the cemetery office could provide a better copy.
