|Armstrong History||ZARLING - Tice Cemetery, WI|
Hi . . . I saw that you manage the memorial pages for Albertine and William Zarling and wanted to let you know I have added another picture to highlight the carved section of their gravestone. It's a beautiful color marble and the simple sprig of flowers is very elegant. Thought you wanted to know about the additional photo added to the memorial pages.

Your page about Elizabeth Of Vermandois #104556553 is a duplicate of Isabel Vermandois Beaumont de Warenne #49615771. They are the same person, although she is known by both names. She is also my 27th G Grandmother. I was born in LA in 1949, but I live in Seattle now. History, archaeology and genealogy is also my favorite pastime. I don't do much flying anymore, but since I was a machine gunner in the 1st Cavalry Division in Vietnam in 1968, I flew in a lot of helicopters. Fortunately, although I had several shot out from under me, I'm still here.

I have past this small cemetery every day for 28 years on my way to work. I'm on a mission--take photos of every legible marker. Almost done.
Have a good evening.

I go from the Esty's on to the Gill's. I don't see any familiar names in your list. But, you know we are ALL related somewhere along the line!
If you have Gill's in your line, please let me know and I would love to share information.

Yes I am Don, my Tree is on Ancestry.ca perhaps we can link our trees together, mine is called Curry/Currey/Currie. I have bumped into one of Mary's sister's descendants living in BC., Canada as well. Who knew we were such a large family.
Cheers to all our cousins!

HI , you are welcome. I took a few Blackwoods and Cassels too... I was glad I came back to find them. Pretty soon too cold to hike those hills :-)

You are most welcome. There were other family members in the same area. If you have them listed on the site, I am able to post pictures.

Hello. I saw the note on your request that you were looking for a photo for Linnie's husband. Her husband is not buried at Floral Hill. Check his memorial, it states where he is buried. I went ahead and uploaded a clearer photo of Linnie's marker. Joanne

|Kari Olson||Kortbein photo requests|
I was at the Oak Grove cemetery today and did not have luck finding Robert Kortbein . His section is listed as 2A Block 3 Lot 128 and I walked it but didnt find a stone. Perhaps next time.
Dorothy and Corliss are in the same area - Original Part Block 4 Lot 59. I did not get to them.
I am going to unclaim them so someone else might go out there sooner than I can return. Perhaps they will find the headstones. I will check back and if no one gets the photos, I will go back later this fall and try again.

You requested a transfer from Sylvia for your 4th great grandmother's memorial and I wondered if you received the transfer? I've been trying to get a hold of Sylvia for months without success and I was just wondering if maybe she was no longer an active member.

|Linda and William S.||Folskes at Tice Cemetery, Winnebago Co., WI|
We were NOT able to find Gustav or Clara, at all.
William H. has incorrect dates on your request. According to the stone, his dates are: February 28, 1924--December 14, 1989.
There is a HERMAN Folske, who has the dates you gave for William: Mar 25, 1884--May 21, 1974.
Herman has a wife, Hadwig J.
Her dates are: May 30, 1889--Mar 12, 1963.
There is a young son, CHARLES HENRY FOLSKE, who is buried to the left (facing the stones) of Herman/Hadwig. He was only 4 days old.
His dates are: May 13-17, 1927.
Since William's dates are incorrect, and Herman has William's correct dates, I will hold off on adding them, for now. Please email me (address on profile) and advise as to what you want to do.

Hi Don, I don't still have the photos, but in April, did put the pics on the memorials that were there. I don't save the photos so awhile back created memorials for Lily and Henry and have just transferred them to you. Mary

Hi Don, You're very welcome. The other name for the Lutheran Cemetery where the Freitags are buried is Peace Lutheran Cemetery. I wasn't sure which Lutheran cemetery they were in, but was happy to find them in the index for Peace. Mary

Hi Don, Frederick Wolff's wife, Lily, is buried with him. They are on the Gruenhagen plot with her parents and siblings. I did take photos if you'd like to make memorials. Henry Hintz is buried with Edward and Johanna and Ida Hintz. Also have a photo of his grave. Mary
