Joseph Cothern - Enon
My wife's 3rd great grandfather was Joseph Cothern, born 24 Feb 1838, died 6 Mar 1918, married 4 times. I was hopping Find A Grave Memorial# 54849005 was him, but unfortunately, the death date is not consistent nor is his wife Catherine Greer Cothern noted as a spouse (though you do have 2 of his other souses mentioned). Since Catherine is also buried in Enon and I notice the death date is not on the tombstone I was wondering where the death date of 1897 came from?

RE: Mary Hicks Stovall
Thanks so much for this information. I think Mary and Josiah Stovall had about 17 children so we probably have cousins all over the place! I am in Georgia. Would love to see a picture of the quilt.

Stone Mtn., GA. Is the quilt in Jackson, MS? Mary also lived in Georgia until her husband died.

Hey Nora
Hello Nora. How are you so far this year? I was wondering is Hall your married name? I'm trying to see who remembers you but i'm thinking Hall if your married name. Do you think you could tell me your maiden name so my family might more easily remember you. Also, do you at all remember my uncle Bill, he moved from the Summit area but I was just wondering. Thank you so much for all the information though, I never knew about my ggrandma's coconut cake until you told me. I couldn't tell you how much that meant to me. Well, until we speak again.

my GGrandma and Mr. Mac
I have so much to ask you I'll try my best to make sense. So you are from Summit then? What were they like, I never met him and she died when I was about 2. And let's just say my grandma;s memory is getting a little hazy. Any info would be beyond appreciated. If you knew great uncles Altoon or Bill or great aunt Fay and her husband Alton i'd also love to hear that. But really anything would make my dad. Thank you again so much for introducing yourself to me.

Much love and a happy new year to you, Alex

William Williams Cemetery
Nora, thank you for photographing the graves at the William Williams' cemetery for me. I really appreciate this. I noticed that you left a comment on one of the memorials stating that you met someone who told you a story about the cemetery. Could you tell me about it? I'd love to know... Again, I appreciate you,
Crissa

RE: Rutland Property
My Mom still lives in Brookhaven and I asked her and she didn't really know any more than I do. BUT she looked in the phone book and said she found a few Rutland's that live in the area I was talking about. If you'd like those please send me an email, I wouldn't want to put their name/number on this message board.

RE: L H Willaims
Nora, thank you for the information! I am in the process of finding the father of Williams Lawrence Williams (he went by Lawrence, his middle name)... I've got no clues to go on, so I've been researching every Williams person I come across that have birth and death dates in his range. Thank you again!!!
