Sarah Van Orman Request
Noticed this request on the Forest City Cemetery site. It appears that Sarah is actually buried at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery which is located about 5 miles out side of Forest City. Her memorial and photos of the stone are on that Cemetery site. You may already know this but in case you didn't, thought I would let you know.

RE: Gould's at Oak Hill

The Gould lot has the following people: Lester A. Gould son of Aaron & Orilla, Alice and Wallace Gould, Children of Nathaniel and Alice Gould, Aaron and Orilla Gould and Eunice Mathews. The small markers show Mother, Father and Lester. The flat marker is for Alice and Wallace. I did find out that Ida St. Clair as well as Jennie St. Clair are buried at the cemetery also. I have set them up.

Elizabeth Neikirk
Hi Susan, I am going to post photos for Elizabeth. She shares the momument with George. But her side faces north and catches the wind and has not weathered well. It also is on the "dark" side of the stone. Perhaps if I get there early in the day, the sun might catch that side of the stone a little.
I will try to gently clean the stone next time and that might show her name better.
I am also posting the "front" of the stone which has a bible verse.
All the best,

RE: Catherine Dabb
I looked around the area but there were no other markers for Ethel or Raymond. They might very well be buried there but without the individual marker that Catherine has. I suggest you call the cemetery to ask for plot location of Ethel and Raymond to see if they are in that plot or elsewhere. If you find that they or any other Dabb or Csuha family are located elsewhere, let me know and I'll go back.

RE: transferred graves
Susan, Yes, they're the ones. I transfered them to you because I'm not related, and I'm not in Indiana like you are. I will transfer the rest of the "problem children" to you if I may. That way you can put them into the proper cemeteries and with photos when possible.

If they WERE my kin, I'd be glad to pay you for your time. However, like you I do this for free from the goodness of my heart. My middle daughter Liz thinks I'm crazy for spending $100 every month to do this! Some might call it my hobby, other might call it my calling, still others will agree with Liz - I'M CRAZY. LOL

RE: st jacob cemetery
Hope I didn't come across as "bossy" or the like. I worked on this cemetery for 2 days in the field and almost a month at home. I had a list from the caretaker that listed names followed by grave locations, a list of already listed graves from F.A.G., a disk with our photos sized-named-crop & ready to go. You know the process from there! WORK, lots of it. I had several graves that my daughter & I couldn't read in the field (using fingers as well as eyes) nor from the photos even before sizing. I hate unfinished jobs. I had hoped someone local would be able to finish up. The grave placement list was from the "STARK COUNTY GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY" -- so the information should be correct in so far as it went.

Maybe you could try to locate a member? I live in Virginia and was visiting my eldest daughter. This Indiana "tombstoning" was HER idea. We did 9 cemeteries in 5 days!

all gaves have a section number connected to them. I am almost sure that if you follow the section number you should be able to find them. please try again.

You're welcome! There were other people on that stone and I posted pics to their memorials also. They were Lillie and Palmer Howard and Harriet Thomas.

Dabb family at Evergreen Cemetery
Are you able to call the cemetery and ask them for the exact plot location. If they give you a plot number with a map reference (like Map 3) ask them which "section" the graves are in. Sections are lettered or named. Section a, B or C and Lawn Crest or Park View, etc.

I wish I had seen your request since I was there today and photographed several requested graves.

RE: Inez Herbert
Your very welcome Susan, I was actually at the cemetery and happened to check my phone for another look up and was able to pick yours up and take care of it while there.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any additional needs at Odd Fellows, I am there at least once a week.
