What about the link to Charity West? Should it remain or be removed?

Well, from the 1860 Census it appears that Elijah and Nancy P. May were the parents of John, Julius, Martha, Eli, and Nancy. They were married Dec. 15, 1825 in Montgomery, Alabama. By 1870 he was married to Narcissa and they had Nealy B. (3), Eli (1) living with them in Newton, Mississippi. On the 1900 census it says they were married in 1865.

I'm not sure this clears up anything, but that's what I found.

RE: Narcissus Haralson
Yes, that is the way I interpret the information. It looks to me like the majority of Julius's children were with Nancy. There is an Eli listed on the 1870 who is just 1 year old, born in Mississippi where they were living then, and there is an Eli listed on the 1860 census with Nancy as his mother and he is 16 years old then, born in Alabama, so it wouldn't be the same person.
I just looked at the 1860 census image and there are several families of Haralsons living in proximity to each other in Scott County, Miss.

RE: Narcissus Haralson
Robert was killed in an accident with a train when he was a young man, I don't know just how old. One time when I was there with my husband's mother she showed me the place where it happened. I assume that he is buried there too, but I'm not sure. I don't know if I ever have looked for his death certificate or any other information about him.

Best regards,

Sue

I have made the link you requested and also linked her to her father, Elijah. Are you related to them? My husband's maternal grandmother was a Haralson, Cornelia Jane Haralson Wynn.

Best regards,

Sue

Barbara & Brenda Linked
Thanks, Mildred for Barbara's information so that I could link it to Brenda. By any chance, do you know where Brenda's Dad, Jack Smith, is buried? I presume Butler, OK? I'll look for his Memorial to link to Brenda.

Thank you so much for the link. I have got to do an Obituary for Brenda. She & I were cheerleaders in Weatherford, and one of the best friends I ever had! I still miss her immensely.. even after almost 16 years. We had an electrical house fire, and I'm really behind on my research! She & Barbara were two of the most special ladies the World has eben known!
Our loss; Heaven's Blessings! :)
Hugs!

RE: Alice Jackson
Mildred I only take extra pictures when I visit grave yards in hopes it will help someone else. I don't live close to this cemetery but happened to be going by one day and photographed some of them. I just thought it would be easier since you know more info than I do to just transfer her to you. I haven't been doing any lately as I just lost my dad last week and have been taking care of him for 3 months.

Mildred,(Shamrock Genealogy Society.)

I thought I had the two duplicated memorials for my parents deleated that Don Zas (decesed) had made. I sent in a request to FAGrave to please consider deleating them for me..and will let you know when the answer comes.
I did not know there was a Genealogy Society in Shamrock,so maybe when I am back there to visit my nieces and nephews I will try and attend one of your meeting. It will be an exciting event for me as I love family research and happy others in Shamrock also do. Goodevening, Charlene

I have deleted this memorial. I went back and checked the list that I was using and the list was wrong from the genealogy society. A photo would have corrected it, but I haven't made it to the cemetery for photographs as yet. Thank you for letting me know of the problem.
