Thank you Veda. I too love the digging for our family heritage. I am working on my husband's side that came from Canada. Now that is hard work as many records were not kept until after the 1850's. I hope we can help each other out on all this history.
Love to you,

I am working in Ancestry.com on the Truan Family Tree. I am Gordon Truan's Daughter. My father's parents were William Henry Truan and Marion Teresa Blender. Their farm was SW of WaKeeney, KS.

I am related to the Blender's of WaKeeney. My Grandmother was Marion Teresa Blender TRUAN. Does this name ring a bell?

I have added the links for you. For future reference, it's much easier to make changes if you place your request via the edit button on the individual's page.

I have transferred Bill's gravesite to your family care - perhaps you will be able to somehow combine the duplicate pages.

I'm sorry - I am just looking at the findagrave site:
and all the info on that page is about his death in March 1945 and birth in Osage County.
Is there a second site that you are looking at - have I entered two sites for your brother?
I am good friends with Dee and Tad - Tad got me the photo.
Please point me to the wrong entries - the site I caretake above (I believe)has the correct dates and place of birth.

you must go to his memorial and click on the edit tab
when that screen pops up then put the info there then send...
makes it easier for one to add info to the right memorial...

Veda, We were happy to make the links you suggested. Didn't get much of an opportunity to visit with you in Oct at Jim's birthday. We are working on finding George and Minnie's children. Have however set up some memorials and made links. Minnie's father Christopher is Connie's 2nd great grandfather. Follow the links and you'll see the connection......Joe and Connie!!
