|Cynthia Kenny||J.W. Hitchcock|
Nancy-My Aunt had a box of old Skidmore Newspapers-I found obit for J.W.Hitchcock if you would like me to scan and send it to you. My email is email@example.com. I would be happy to send it to you! (Isn't this so interesting, it seems to connect us with our ancestors!)

|Cynthia Kenny||Bethany Cemetery|
Nancy-Thanks for making the corrections to the memorials at Bethany Christian Cemetery. Of the three people I sent those to, you are the only one who followed through! I have had that list since mid-70's. More than likely, some of the memorials I added are possibly unmarked graves, but anyone looking for their ancestors, I hope, will find the information to be valuable. So nice to have someone who created a memorial to actually make the corrections, do you find, as I have that some people seem to be trying to win a contest on who can create the most memorials, but then they completely ignore your requests and edits?!?! Thanks again for all your hard work, didn't know you, but I hoped that you wouldn't be overwhelmed or get upset.

Nancy, I was able to link John William with his parents, per your request. These people are direct descendants for me. If you would like to transfer Joshua Van Zandt and Mary Ann Thayer Van Zandt to me, I'd be glad to take care of them. I also have information to link them to Zachariah Noble Van Zandt who was Joshua's father and Leticia Clayton who was his mother. Thanks, Becky Van Zandt Brennan

I was able to get ahold of James Seidelman & he was very sweet about letting me use all the information on the original memorial. Her memorial has been updated & I transferred the original memorial back to Jim. He will delete it when he gets a chance.
I also updated all the other stuff you sent for Wheeler Cemetery.
Have a great day!

I wasn't aware, until now, that with the new system there's a list of reasons from which to pick! (It's a bit limited, and curt!)
Since they are your distant in-laws, would you like transfers? Would be happy to do so - just would be helpful to me if they are requested directly from each memorial.

|Lisa Gerald||Nicholas Biever family|
Hi Nancy -
Thanks much for the links & additional info. I've decided, however, just to leave the suffix off for Nicholas (son of Nickolas, and father of Nicholas, Jr.). He was recorded as "Jr." at his marriage; most likely he became known as "Sr." after his father's death. Hopefully the link to his father & the obit calling his son Nicholas, Jr., is sufficient to clarify the relationships!

I had made the correction you had told me about. I do not know why I had placed her at the wrong Cemetery. Thanks for letting me know, I appreciate it. William McMillin

Thank you for helping me get this genealogy straight. I have the Parthemore genealogy published in Harrisburg in 1885 and have been trying to update it ever since I received it. I'm not related but my sister and wife's seven sisters are connected several times through marriages. Thanks again.

|Rich||S/Sgt Thomas Edwards|
Thanks for the addition to the memorial. Thought for sure that there would be an obvious connection down there. Well we did what we could and someday someone will probably be able to use the information to make a connection and break thru a "brick wall".
Keep up the great work.

|D Patterson||RE: Charles Lesher|
Yes, Hattie is my great grand aunt. Charles was her second husband. She was married to Arthur Smith, but he died young. Charles and Aunt Hattie were married in Covington, Kentucky on 17 Sept 1903. Aunt Hattie died of uterine cancer in 1928. Her sister, Aunt Ida was married to Charles' brother Samuel. I do show Susan Griffin as Charles's first wife and Ralph as their son.

I linked Mary's parents and husband for you. If you want me to transfer their memorials to you just let me know. Be sure to include their memorial numbers and your member number in your request so I make sure there aren't any mistakes in the transfer.

Hi, I got an email to add information to this memorial but I transferred management to you. You should be receiving an email telling you but If you don't, let me know and I'll try it again.
She was married to my great grand uncle, Ira T. Cook. I visited Hopkins Cemetery several years ago and couldn't find headstones for either one of them. I think that's why I enjoy Find A Grave so much. It's always sad to find an unmarked grave. Let me know if I can do anything else for you. Vicki Vann
