Oh my you have done some awesome work on your virtual cem. I am amazed. What excellent work you have done and with such dedication :-)

When I can handle being on this site for longer than 10 minutes, I will go back to your page and check it out more. Amazing!!

No problem, if there was a delay in transferring, I apologize for the delay. My bio explains why.

Sincerely, Sharon

RE: Ruth
Well I don't do it just because I want to, lol. We have to rewrite them in our own words and phrasing unless we have permission from the publisher/author to post them verbatim due to copyright laws. I understand many many people break that rule, and I surely don't mind it--I like seeing the full obit--I just can't bring myself to do so. It's not just the rules of this website, it's federal copyright law. Technically, someone could be sued for copyright infringement (and yes, that is not likely). Like I said, no skin off my nose if others do it, I just like (try!) to keep my own yard clean. ;) Posting the names and locations of living survivors is also against the rules of this website, so those always have to be taken out as well, to stay within the rules. I know there are many many members who do this here, I just can't bring myself to do so. I'm a rule-follower, lol. I doubt anyone cares but me. :)

Maybe waiting for Jim....

I haven't had time to rewrite the obituary into my own words (it's quite long). She was quite a lady. :)

Sadly she only has the temporary marker still. I've been keeping an eye on it all year. I could not take a wider, more pleasing shot of the area because there was nothing but mud there. :( If she ever gets a marker placed you can be sure I will post it.

I did the transfer as you requested. I would suggest though, for future reference, maybe consider using the edit tab in the memorial for transfer requests.

RE: Charles and Bill Richardson
You're welcome. That may have been the most enjoyable headstone I have seen yet (looking at the "It's All About Bill")! I thought that was great.

RE: Robert Tucker, Jr.
If you are not going to call the Restland office to check on multiple Robert Tuckers, please let me know and I'll remove the request. There is a good chance they just provided the location of the first one they without double checking the dates. They do have Sunday hours. I'd still like to help but they do not supply locations to non-relatives and I got lucky with an email.

Ann,

You're always welcome! Some of them I knew roughly where to look (courtesy of my map), while others I happened to stumble across while walking. Maybe eventually I can walk the entire grounds and knock out all of the newer graves that do not have section and row locations in the book. That will take the dedication of an entire day though, and to do that right now I'd have to play hookey from work! :)

I did see one more that you wanted, but it was covered with a good 2" of dirt over 75% or more of the stone surface. A by-product of mole activity, probably. There was way too much dirt to breach with the brush I use to sweep away dead grass clippings! I didn't happen to have a shovel on me, so that one was a no-go yesterday. I'll take care of it next time, though. :)

Brad

Yes, this is correct. I checked my inbox and I have handled everything I received. Maybe I deleted it in error. Please resend. Thanks, Diane

RE: John and Nancy Tuthill
Ann, My last message was confusing. I had pictures of the Daniel Tuthill who died in 1836 (picture already posted) and Celestia Tuthill, Daniel Braley Tuthill's wife (which I just posted). I did not see Daniel Braley Tuthill's marker, however, it may be there as I was not looking for it specifically. Larry Hamby

Glad I could help. Was taking a picture of my wife's great great grandparents, Joseph & Hannah Holt, so took pictures of a few more that I could read to check in find-a-grave. Also have the picture of a Daniel Tuthill but he was a child. Lit me know if you need that one.

You are welcome. I do assume you know that the funeral home marker is the only marker at her gravesite.

I was taking pictures of many tombstones for the purpose of posting pictures and assumed that her grave had not had any picture yet posted.
