RE: Brennan Family
You are welcome! I do enjoy the walk and volunteering to help with whatever I can. Maybe family in the near future can split the cost of one or two headstones. That's what my family did as the became working adults.

RE: Joseph Miller
I was told there are only numbers in the ground, I guess woodland has been dumping dirt and tree limbs on the graves for years It must be bad because you can't even see back there fence has slats blocking your view, that's what I was told by employee

ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

If you have already received this message, please accept our apologies for the duplicate message.

RE: Depencier
You're quite welcome! Weather is terrible here, flooding and chilly but a day out photographing stones is just what's needed on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Janet

You are very welcome for the photos. It was chilly but luckily I did not have to go to far from my warm vehicle.

RE: Alexander Koenig
You are very welcome.

The home page of the Memorial Pages gives room for 3 photos so I always like to post that many.

And yes, I also like the shots from the distance. I think they turn out the best.

I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures. It was blazing hot out there yesterday but I still have a great time. Good way to get out of town on a day off.

You are very welcome.
It was hotter than a pistol out there but I had a great time all the same.

Glad you enjoyed the pictures.

While I was in Ellendale I was hoping to find the Resting Place for Genevieve Depencier.

My assumption is that she remarried and is buried along side her second husband.

I went through the cemetery twice and was unable to find her.

I hope you like the pictures that I posted. It does appear that his headstone has been soiled by the birds but that's just the sunlight hitting the edges of the carving.

Again, I hope you enjoy the pictures.

You are welcome. That's why I enter the obits - so people, who would be unable to locate an obit, can find it.
