RE: Edward Kenoshmeg
His photo,Edward Kenoshmeg, appears on the cover of a 1963 book/publication called Old Arbre Croche. Long out of print and very hard to find copies. There are reprints out there but you have to be lucky to find this book. Author is Mary Belle Shurtleff who in interned in Cross Village.

I am so glad that you approve of the photo. I did not ask you prior to posting. So, glad your happy.

Archie McCall
Hi Reena,

I added a headstone picture to Find A Grave Memorial# 18299998. It has Archie's date of birth and death, please add those to your memorial.

Had I thought the memorial needed a stone, I would have brushed off the pine needles. If you take a better picture, please feel free to delete this one.

Donald A. LaFleur
I am searching death records for my uncle Donald A. LaFleur. He was born November 23, 1877 in Canada.

Lived and died in Topinabee MI on August 28, 1958. His memorial card says his service was held at Earl R. Norman Funeral Home in Cheboygan.

My problem is the interment was at (Cross Settlement Cemetery). I cannot find that cemetery.

The funeral home did not recognize that name so I thought I would check other cemeteries in the area.

Burt Mullet Cemetery South that the original name? is there another annex of the cemetery?

When I was looking for my uncle, I found a Don LaFleur with no information. How do I find out if this is the person I am looking for????

Aldridge and Eady families.
Hello Reena,

The Aldridge family is descended from my Eady framily of Renfrew, Ontario, two branches of which arrived in Michigan 1840-1870. If you are interested in the Eady family drop me a line at

Hi Reena, my wife's mother was a Storey from Chippewa County and I am researching her family line. I have obituaries for both Lyla and James Storey if you would like them to add to your Find A Grave memorials.

Burt Lake
Hi, Reena,
I just re-read your bio. Could Burt Lake be near Burt, Michigan? That is near Saginaw and nearer to Birch Run, I believe. The parents of my best friend in high school (South Bend, IN), Rose Budd, came from Burt in the 1930's so that Mr. Budd could work at Bendix Products Company for Vincent Bendix. The Budds, C.E. and Kitty, maintained a farm near Burt across the road from Mr. Budd's brother. In high school and college (Michigan State), Rose and I often stayed at "the farm" with them on weekends. They are buried in Birch Run Cemetery. You see, we farmers never give up our roots!

Anna Jones, wife of Charles H. Butler
Hi, Reena,
I am still working at Poe. I have worked my way through the Millers, the Clendenins, and the Eberhards. Now I'm concentrating on the Butlers, which do tie into my family through the Youngs. I'm checking my Family Tree Maker program and my personal cemetery records made at Poe through the years against your records. You do good work! Thank you for entering in all this information. About Anna (Jones) Butler, though - I have 1891 as her date of death, from reading the stone: Charles H. Butler, 1818-1881, Anna, his wife, 1821-1891. I think someone has misread a 7 for a 9, which is easy to do if the stone is worn. I would just change the death date to 1891 - as you say, she appears in the 1880 US Census.

Thanks so much Reena!! Appreciate the help. Maybe someday we'll meet if you come home to visit :) Happy 4th of July. Hope you have a great weekend...

Thank You
Thanks for finding Sarah Robillard's gravesite for me and taking the picture. It's interesting to see that the death date says 1939, but everything I have says 1931. Did you happen to notice if her husband Israel was buried there as well?

Good morning Reenie :)

When you have time I have a few more to be linked. No need to transfer them unless you'd like to.

Children of the above names:

Walter Paul Wiklanski #71206349
Josephine E(Wiklanski)Warek #71204743

Who do you go through to add people from cemeteries that are not listed? Curious because there are alot at the St. Nich. Cemetery that are not on here :)

It was great meeting you :) Thanks again,
