RE: Means family records
Member #47376145 MJ is the owner of listing #15406155 so they will have to be the one to delete and send it to the other member to fix this. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Regards, Cassandrea.

RE: Wamsley Cemetery
Dear Mr. Vanderhoorn, I found a map of the Wamsley Cemetery on Google maps on the internet. Wamsley Cemetery is located according to this map on SE Harris Road. This is just west of EE. As the crow flys, I am guessing this is about 6-7 miles southwest of Winston, Missouri and about 4-5 miles straight north of Cameron, Missouri. It is actually a little closer to Cameron. EE is in Dekalb County as is SE Harris Road. If this is the same cemetery we are talking about, it is in DeKalb County. Check and see if we are talking about the same cemetery. Are there two Wamsley Cemeteries? Thanks for checking. Baxter

Wamsley Cemetery
Dear Mr. Vanderhoorn, I am hoping you can clear something up for me. The Wamsley Cemetery where Orlando Auten is buried is listed in two different counties, DeKalb County and in Clinton County and there are Find A Grave sites for both and both show the same Wamsley arched sign over the entrance. I know that this can't be. Can you tell me what county the Wamsley Cemetery is really in? Thanks, Baxter B. Fite III

South of the dam?--or something of like that. The van Salee line is a lot of fun. Unfortunately, I can't confirm that family connection, although it is made in a Suydam family tree given to me by a 2nd cousin. I need to talk some of my distant Suydam male cousins into getting a DNA test. I'm descended along the female line from Zula L. Suydam who was the daughter of Charles Henry Suydam, the son of William and Sarah Halsey Suydam.
I am pretty confident that the line does go back to the original Long Island immigrant. I just can't yet verify how. Helas! My brothers will be sad if they have to give up that prostitute.
Oh yes,I've added the links.
Best Wishes,
Pat

Yes, I will cross reference tomorrow. Sorry to say I'm lazy about doing that.
Are you related to this line?
Best Wishes,

Thank-you for notifying our family that Eva's last resting place is unmarked. Words cannot express my family's gratitude. You are a true unsung hero by giving of your time. Your kindness shall never be forgotten. Thank-you for advancing the knowledge to the next generation. I am, with deepest respect, a grateful family member. Gratitude.

Brasfield Cemetery in Platte County
When you photographed graves in Brasfield Cemetery, did it appear that there might be unmarked or forgotten graves? in the cemetery is Eleanor Lafferty, her daughter Jane and son -in -law Jane Brassfield are buried there.
In the 1850 census, living in the household with Jane and her son John and her mother Eleanor was Stephen Strode, who was age 76 in 1850. Stephen was Eleanor's older brother, and is my ancestor. I'm wondering if there is any way to find out if Stephen might also be buried in that cemetery since it seems that it was in use by at least 1839 when James Brasfield was buried there. Stephen was a soldier in the War of 1812, and fought at the Battle of the River Raisin in Michigan in 1813. If his grave could be located it would be wonderful to have a marker placed to commemorate his service. I live in Arizona so all my research is long distance. my email is lesliesgenealogy@aol.com if you have time to answer.

William Martin 9898105
I did submit a birth date thru the edit button but couldn't get other info on that way. William was born in KY or VA depending on the census - think VA because that was the earlier one when everyone was aware of what was going on. He married Phoebe Dawson 28 Dec 1846 in Greenup Co KY. Her # is 134735484.

RE: witt cemetery
Thanks, Peter! A friend and I went looking for this cemetery yesterday and eventually asked someone who did know where it was. It would have been about a 1/4 to 1/2 mile walk and I have a broken little toe and my companion is on oxygen so it wasn't feasible. Maybe this summer I will get to it. I did find GPS coordinates for it also.

Can you help me find the Sampell Cemetery so I can complete the Elizabeth Shields request? I drove Crooked Rd from downtown Parkville to 45 Highway and found nothing. Is it on the North side of 45?

Sorry for the mess up. I was try to send the duplicate memorial to each other and I mess up trying to send the other memorial to you. The information above the other duplicate.

I found the two memorials researching the family. I don't live in MO and I am not sure what county this cemetery is actually in - DeKalb or Clinton County, MO. The picture and information is the same for both memorials.

Again sorry for the mess up. Thank you for your help.
