John Arsenault
Laurette Lowe Moody
Thank you for the timeline of Laurette's life. I've incorporated some of it into her bio. I got into this family while researching Laurette's brother, Robert W. Lowe, who served with my grandfather in the Spanish-American War. He, like Walter Moody, was also a dentist and they may have actually practiced together.

Churches and Burches
Hi Linda,
I am the g-g-g-g-g granddaughter of Amaziah and Azubah. You might be interested to know that there was another child in addition to Candace and the other (sorry, didn't note the name.) This was Annis Church, born in 1787 (according to her headstone), who married Benjamin Burch. Benjamin and Annis lived for awhile in Jericho VT, before moving to Canada where they and some other families from Jericho founded La Chute, Quebec.

Grave of Lucy Blake
Thanks for the photo! Lucy Blake died in a snowstorm but managed to save her child. The story became famous with a poem and sheet music to honor her heroics. Here is some info on her:

Hi Linda,

I see that you have done a lot of work on the John Van Blarcom line , photos, etc. Are you related to the Van Blarcom's? John is my G.G.G. Grandmother's brother. I have been working on this line of my family.

Thank you for your hard work and dedication to finding your ancestors.

RE: Phebe Dowe
Linda,

Well, you should check out the rest of the memorials for the Dowe family in Elmwood. I added photos for 6 graves in all, Phebe's husband Abraham (1714 - 1783) as well as the two other couples :

Benjamin Dowe (1755 - 1835) and Hannah Phillips (1755 - 1805)

Benjamin Dowe Jr (1780 - 1833) and Hannah M Gove (1770 - 1848)

I haven't taken time to investigate the family, I'm not related, but it would appear that these people are all related, three generations starting with Abraham. I will eventually look into other Dowe family members possibly buried here but a local Seabrook native told me that the name most likely got changed to Dow somewhere down the line as there are many Dow families in Seabrook but Dowe was not a name familiar to him.

Interesting side note : These 6 people appear to be buried from right to left, in death order. So husbands and wives are not side by side.

In case you didn't know, they are all buried in what was the Quaker Cemetery, so they were all Quakers.

Pauline Cusack
Wyatt Brennan Family
Hi Linda. Greetings from Ireland! Firstly, thank you for the wonderful work you have done and submitted to the findagrave website. I too have an interest in family history/genealogy. I am particularly interested in this family, as a member of the Brennan family, (a direct descendant of Elizabeth Church's brother James), has contacted me in relation to their Irish roots. Would you by any chance have any information on the family of Hannah's husband William? If not, would you be interested in the information which has been passed on to me about this family? Regards, P Cusack.

Rebecca Church Bodell
The Church Family
Hi Linda,
I saw some e-mails between you and other people for the Church Family. My maiden name is Church. I am on Ancestry.com and have had a difficult time working on and finding info for the Church side. I was hoping to possibly converse with you sometimes on the Church family tree. I did talk to(e-mail) someone once that beleives Waitstill S Church's Father is Thomas Montgomery-Born-22 Jun 1696 in Dublin,Ireland-Died-15 Jun 1758 in Pennsylvania. He said that Waitstill has a different last name because Waitstill was Thomas's first, and also illegetimate, son. This could explain the middle name of Montgomery for Waitstils son, Johnathon Montgomery Church. He said that Waitstill was also born in Ireland. He also said Waitstill's mothers name was Hannah Church but I have found nothing concrete to back that up at all. Thank you so much for your time and if you could let me know where you fit in the tree that would be great! Waitstill is my 6th great grandfather. Becky Church Bodell
