Eliason Family
Could you please post a photo of the grave or graves for Ole Peder and Clara E. Eliason at Sunset View Cemetery. They should be near the grave you posted for Infant Oliver Curtis Eliason. They are my husband's grandparents. His mother just passed away 1/15/2013 and I am trying to document their graves and make a connection with her grave in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in Nashville, TN. Thank you so much for your help. My Family's Links
Thank you, Linda, for what you have done for my family. And thank you for transferring Sarah to me within the last few days. I had run general searches for Sarah's parents and sisters. Not finding anything, I put up memorials for them. But when I ran Sarah's brother, James Myron Richie, he came up as belonging to you. At that point I wrote to you about him. But since that time, I've run the Richie name on your profile and came up with James, his parents, and both sisters. Once you transfer them to me, I will transfer all of the bios I've written and the family photos to the memorials you created and take down the duplicate ones I unwittingly created for Sarah's parents and sisters. These are your memorial numbers: Richie, Florence A #52750606; Richie, Helen A #52750634; Richie, James Myron #52750674; Richie, Myron T #52750745. My member number is #48015067. Many blessings, Susan

Sarah E Stanley and James Myron Richie
Hi Linda,

When I ran a search for Sarah's brother, James, I found that you'd put up a memorial for him, too. You are so sweet to do that. They are my great aunt and uncle on my mother's side. Our immediate family is very small, and I wonder whether you might consent to transfer both of them to me so that I can link them up with their parents, sisters, nieces, nephews, and grandparents. Also, I have been putting up fairly extensive, detailed background notes for each of them and plan to add more background notes and additional photos when I am able to sit down with my mother again in February to go over each of their family tree profiles with her next month. You have done such wonderful work here at ancestry.com. My contributor number is 48015067.

Thank you,

Susan Nelson

RE: Sarah E Stanley
Thank you for offering to transfer Sarah E (Richie) Stanley, my great aunt and godmother, to me, Linda. If you would like to entrust me with managing the memorial that you created, I would be very pleased for you to transfer her to me! I was so surprised to find the memorial you created for her. You set an example that inspired me to join Find A Grave. Are you and I related, Linda? Want to be Find A Grave friends? I'm not sure how a transfer works and will leave that to you. Thank you very much for caring enough to create the memorial for my great aunt and godmother. It was her gift of a record player and records to me when I was just a little girl that led to my becoming a flutist, and she holds a special place in my heart. Susan

Sarah E Stanley
Hi Linda,

I've sponsored the memorial you graciously put up for my great aunt and godmother, Sarah E Richie Stanley. And I've put up two photos, one of her and one of her and husband, Floyd Stanley. Are you related to Sarah or Floyd, Linda? It would be nice if we were cousins! Anyway, I've put up a memorial for Sarah's mother, and I wonder whether you would be willing to link Sarah to the memorial I've put up for her mother. I am also in the process of putting a memorial up for Sarah's father. The memorial number for Sarah's mother is 102924496. Thank you for all that you have done to help others with your work here at ancestry.com.

Happy New Year,

Susan Nelson

Am happy to add her maiden name. If you'd like I can transfer her memorial to you, just let me know.

Sorry I'm not related. I'm just transcribing and taking pictures of headstones hoping that a family member will be able to find what I've posted and get excited, like I do, when learning more about their ancestors or friends.

Regards,
B.Stone

Photo Question
You photographed the headstone of John Phelps, memorial #22581160 on June 5, 2010 at my request. The photo was displayed properly but today all there is only a blank square with no photo with a small box with a red "x" in it in the upper left hand corner with the name John Phelps. Do you know why the photo will not come up? You might try adding the photo again?

Thank you! I'm not related, I'm providing updated info for our local (Santa Cruz, County, CA) soldiers' memorials! Don't forget to update William's name at the head of his memorial from W M (M is a mistake: look closer at the marker to prove) to William Henry! Thanks again!

Just a note to let you know I've posted your photo request to Robert's memorial. The grass there is very thick and wouldn't stay down for the camera, but the full inscription reads:

You were your trees, your roots went deep, and your spirit reached the sky.
