Clarification on memorial
Linda,

My great uncle I believe is at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Cemetery office at Mt. Calvary verifies he was buried there October 1951 and I have found Find a grave memorial #141001958 with photo showing headstone for Vernon G. Christensen at Mt Calvary.

I also have found your find a grave memorial #49957999 with same photo of headstone but you showing him at Crescent Grove with the additional information of my great aunt, Aurelia, listed as Vernon's spouse. I have called Crescent Grove Cemetery and they have no record. Can you help me out? Becky

James Donald Jackson #50047185
Sorry to confuse the two names. It is James Donald Jackson's name that has been almost obliterated.

James Donald Jackson #50047185
Hello Linda,

I was at Sunset View Cemetery yesterday when I came across the stone for James William Jackson, who shares a plot with his father James Donald Jackson.

Since you took your photo in 2010, some damage has almost obliterated the name of James William Jackson and his dates. I posted a photo on your memorial to show it as it exists now. Since Jackson is one of your family names, I thought perhaps James might be your relative and you'd want to know.

Kindly,
Dusty Poss

This one still has just the temporary grave marker. Just let me know when the perm marker has been done and I can go back and retake the photo.

James B Hermanek
Hi,
I got pics per your request for James Hermanek's gravesite today. He is buried by his first wife.
I looked and looked but don't know where they buried his second wife, Gertrude? She died in Eugene, OR in 1987. I would suspect that she was also previously married but to who I do not know. She may be buried by a first husband in Eugene? I could not find anything on her in the Oregonian. Since she died in Eugene it would be more than likely an obit for her could be in the Eugene paper.
I found an obit for James if you don't already have it. I could email it to you if you don't have it.

Mary J. Brady Palmer
Hello Linda,

You have management of Bessie Palmer Kennedy's memorial (#52976792). Next to her marker is that of her mother, Mary J. Brady Palmer (Memorial #135859038). I see from your profile that you belong to the Kennedy family. If you belong to the Brady family also and you would like management of Mary Palmer's memorial, I will be happy to transfer it to you.

If you would like evidence that Mary is Bessie's mother, I found it here on FamilySearch: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/MH4J-ZHG

Warm regards,
Dusty Poss

Hi Linda,

Oh, gosh, no - I'm not related - just on a mission to get all the sites in Section R of GGNC photographed (done) and posted to Find A Grave (still working). Was just wanting to let you know about photos on a couple memorials where the ones I posted might be a tad clearer. Thanks for all you do on Find A Grave -

Kathleen

Hi Linda,

So sorry - found another one - think you must be using a different camera one day. Again, I think the photo I just posted might be clearer - what do you think? Thanks -

Hi Linda,

Having just posted a photo to Gertrude's memorial, I think I might have a tad clearer photo than yours - which is so unusual as your photos are always so good. What do you think? Thanks -

Dear Linda V.! Wow! Thank you so much! Please check back over the next few months for a well-researched biography on Pvt. Kinzer's memorial. I might even be able to find a photograph of him if I am very lucky and persistant. Kind regards, Bridey Light, Anthropologist

RE: Pvte George Mullen 71st Pa
Thanks Linda.Appreciated. If you could add the following bio. Many thanks.= Michael www.69thPa.co.uk

George Mullen born in Ireland. Initially enlisted in Co E 71st Pa Inf. Transferred to Co.A 69th Pa 12.6.1864. Was wounded at Gettysburg and later Peterburg. Fought in most of the engagements of both regiments. While in hospital at City Point Va 8.10.1864 wrote directly to Governor Curtin basically about his disappointment about not being promoted despite his active participation in so many crucial battles. It seemed to have worked and he was promoted Corp. 1.5.1865. He had re-enlisted on 5.1.1864 at Stevensburg Va. stating that he had been a farmer. At some stage he seems to have gone west to California and records state that he had farmed in Colusa Co. north of Yountville and Napa Co. As he got older he spent several periods in the Vets Memorial Hospital at Yountville Napa Co. He died 22.7.1913 apparenty at the Vets home there. Sadly his records state that he had no next of kin.
Probably born in either Co.Derry or Co. Tyrone Ireland.

Pvte George Mullen 71st Pa
Hi Linda. I research the 69th Pa and 71st Pa Infantry and I can add information to the F.A.G. entry for him. If I pass you the information can you add for me. I see the lady who runs his site does not appear to have the facility or does not get involved with the Old Vets sites.
Many thanks

I hope that this is of help to you.
Thanks.

RE: Charles Hedemark
Hi Linda,
I looked up Charles L. Hedemark (39 yo) in the 1900 census. He's with his wife, Emma (34 yo), and three children, Edith (11 yo), Earl (7 yo) and Elmer (4 yo) living in Crockett. His birth date is given as Oct 1860 in California. If you are sure about the 1960 death date, then it cannot be the same Charles Hedemark. Thanks very much for checking with me.
