Thank you very much for sending the link to the obituary for PFC Ernest Larose! It was so appropriate to receive it on Independence Day, too. I was not aware of that link. Do you know where I could find a photo of him?

|Gloria Barnes||Wiley & Rachel Melton|
Thank you so very much for photographing the monuments for Wiley & Rachel and adding obits. Wiley is my 3rd cousin, 2X removed.
Wiley was the son of William K. Melton and Katie M. King. He lived in Glenrock, Wyoming and worked for the Midwest Oil Co. when he registered for the WWI Draft in 1918. During the 1920 U.S. Census, he was in Casper, Wyoming and worked in an oil refinery. Wiley married a woman named Marion prior to Rachel. I found the divorce record for Wiley K. Melson and Marion Melton dated 24 Jan 1939 in Denver, Colorado.
I found a newspaper article in the Billings Gazette, Billings, MT dated 14 Aug 1943 saying Wiley lost his left leg some years prior in a train accident. He also drew a pension for his military service.
I also found 2 of Rachel's daughters with her 1st husband - Sarah Sally Stanton Find A Grave# 100994825 & Lillian Marie Enis Find A Grave# 100991326. Since you created the memorials, maybe you could link their mother, Rachel, to them.
Thank you again.
