Hi there -

Are you related to Commie Moses? You added his records and I'm related. I love digging up family lines!

Hey, y'all! That's Benton and Sarah (Casteel) Stallard. He consistantly went by "Harmon across all the census records, and is called such on his death certificate. He seems to have gone by "Benton" at one point, too.

I am about 5/6 miles from the McFarland-Sewell Cemetery. I have tried to look for it before, but there is no sign of direction to it nor do I see any sign of it from the road. It is supposedly on a large area of land owned by a John Maxwell. I can try again tomorrow, this time taking my husband with me. He'll stop at one of the homes there & ask about it, lol.

RE: Charles David Crowell
I received your email message asking if I was family because I had birth/death date info & I wanted to let you know that I am NOT family. The cemetery has another website that only has location information of deceased residents which includes birth/death date information as well. The cemetery gave access to this information to volunteer photographers only.

If I upset you in any way, I do apologize. I am a volunteer photographer because I love to walk through cemeteries & take photos of headstones to help others find family members who are out of state & not able to come to California to visit their loved ones after they have passed.

Eva Ann Capehart Nelson
Hello Dave & Lois
I sent out a request for a photo of my grandma Nelson marker back in 2011. I was hoping that someone had information of her burial plot (which was unmarked). I appreciate your efforts in your search and you had posted her death certificate in place of a headstone. Well I am happy to let you know after 2 years of researching I finally found my grandma's burial plot. We now have her a head stone placed. If you would be so kind to remove her death certificate from her memorial page, My family and I would be very grateful. Thank you very much for all your hard work.

I am sorry I am no kin and I had only entered the info on the headstone until David Johnson had sent me the extra info and then I updated the memorial. Click on his information under the flowers left and maybe he can help you.

thanks Karen

Joe W Tippit Sr
RE: Bland Family
I research this "Tippit" family because my Grandfather said that we are Cousins.

After 30 years of research, I have not found the link between the two families of "Tippit".

I am sorry, but I have no stories or pictures to share with you.

I can tell you that Ida Laura's husband's family goes back to William B. Tippit of South Carolina. William B. was born about 1804 and died after 1877. William married Fatha Wilkinson on November 22, 1825 in Green County, Georgia. They had seven known children. Georgianna, Unnamed, Unnamed, Simeon Reece (Ida's father-in-law), Seaborn T, William J (died in the Civil War), and Clara W.

All seven children were born in Georgia. Many of them lived in Coryell County, Texas
