Transferred your cousin to you.
Looking forward to seeing all the information you have to add, so he has a more fully realized & meaningful memorial page. I already added a considerable amount to it.

Benjamin & Lois Knapp Family
RE: Benjamin Franklin Knapp
Hi Kathy,

The memorial says birth 1800, death Apr 1880. I hope that is helpful.

I'm researching Benjamin Knapp because they raised my Great Grandfather, Robert Benjamin Steele. Benjamin Knapp's death notice also stated that he died at the home of my Great Grandfather. I have never been able to find out Robert Benjamin Steele was related to them, why they were raising him, or who his birth parents were. Do you have any thoughts or have you come across any clues about this in your family research?

If there is any other info I can help you with in your Knapp research, just let me know.

RE: The Jarowyi Family
I have no problem transferring them to you. I have already done so. You probably be be able to add more information for their memorial than I can. If you were that close to them, you will be able to show them much more love and respect than I am able to. As for Butch Mabie, I have heard the name before. I think we are distant cousins. Our family settled in northern Indiana from New York in the 1850's. It has split in different branches a number of times.

PS. Your welcome, I am glad I was able to transfer the memorials to you.

Are you sure it wouldn't be easier for me to transfer these to you? I mean, if they are related to you in some way...

RE: Wolfersberger or Wolfensberger?
I found 3 variations on this page:

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=26773873

Also, look on her husband's page for 2 variations.

Hope that helps. Was there perhaps a name change along the way somewhere?

Wolfersberger or Wolfensberger?
I noticed on two pages that you co-maintain (?) that the following info is given:
Johannes Wolfensberger
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=26773675

and
Anna Margaretha Ensminger Wolfensberger
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=26773873

that there are MANY surnames listed for this couple, as well as a spelling difference seen in the gravestone as well (dedicated 1996)

Could you explain in your biographical info on the two pages how the surname changes between Wolfensberger, (letter n in middle)
Wolfersberger and (letter r in middle)
Wolfesberger? (no r or n seen in middle)

Thanks!

Emma Breeden
I'm guessing you meant Emma at Ebenezer. I added your info to her bio. Please re-ck the mem pg # for her mother & then submit it & the father's # thru the Edit on Emma's mem pg. If you'd like a transfer of Emma's pg - use the "other" under Edit. Thanks.

Hello Kathy I am updating Berkebile Families in America the 6th edition of which William is a member, could I have your permission to use the headstones you photo graphed of his and his wife Maudette? You would of course be given credit for the photos.

Anna Elizabeth Sixt (Zecht)
I am wondering how you came up with the info listed for Anna? In the Meisser genealogy info, on your list I don't see John Johannes Meiser, Born ca 1722-36 died .1.1812 in Millbach, PA who married Catherine?

You must have a better source of info that we find in the Meisser Genealogy books?

Would love to know if possible. You may contact me at aspencherub@comcast.net with some details.

Do you also have more info on Anna; i.e., parents, siblings, etc.

Thanks a bunch.

Johann Michael Meiser
Hi Kathy, I was so happy to find Johann Michael Meiser (101555547) and his wife Anna Elizabeth Sixt (101555454) in the Millbach Cemetery. They are my 6th great grandparents. Can you please tell me your source? Did you visit the cemetery and see the stones or did you have a transcript of the cemetery? I really would like to have this for my family genealogy if you can tell me where to get it. Thank you so much. Char
