Linda Josey
Josey's at Bethel
Just wanted to thank you for posting pictures of the gravesites of my Grandmother, Bertha Josey, Grandfather, Joe Josey, and Uncle, Alfred Josey.

My dad, Albert Josey, was Alfred's twin brother. He passed away August of last year and is buried at Dellwood.

I have never visited Bethel but my Mom has flowers placed on the gravesites each year. I was able to send copies of the pictures you took to our florist to ensure they deliver to the right location. I am in California and handling this for my Mom this year. I'm so grateful you posted the pictures. They are a big help!

Thanks again!

Linda Josey

RE: Zoath Spooner photo
I was just fascinated looking up this man's history, and all he accomplished, ending up in a remote corner of Georgia setting up a farm. The fact we had photography and telegraphy before the Civil War, still amazes me, and Zoath's photo is one of those early early shots. Thanks for the note.

Zoath Spooner Photograph
Was the photo you reference in the box of photos in your contributor bio, Zoath Spooner? If not, where in the world did you get such a gem of a photo. Considering photography was invented in 1827, and Zoath passed in 1856, a photo from that period was pretty expensive and rare, and that it survived with information about the subject of the photo, is amazing. There is such a story in this man's face and eyes!

RE: Mary T. Lambert (Springs Cemetery)
Thanks. I haven't found one for him either. Nor have I found where he's buried. If I find it, I'll be happy to pass it along.

Rita Lavorgna
RE: Charlie J. Spooner
Since I am only the "owner" of Charles' record, I could only put a reference to the relationship -- not an actual link.

Sarah, thanks so much, I just was hoping it was Joel V. and thanks for letting me know that it was.

Re: Dellah Oxendine
You simply placed this photo on the wrong grave. There is a memorial for the correct person. Thanks, Winnette

Re: Susan Barwick
Re: Spooner
Please do not contact Susan Barwick right now. She is not able to make any changes right now. Save it for about a month and she will be able to deal with this then. Her sister is in hospice and Susan does not use the computer right now.

Thanks, Winnette

Elmer Spooner At Cool Spring Cemetery
The owner of the entry for Elmer Spooner is Susan Barwick #47009363. The link to his father Francis Marion has to be made by her. I cannot link parents to children
Let me know if I can help, otherwise.

DOB for William White

The date of birth appears to 1865 on the death certificate. However, some would argue that it is 1966. This is the link to it. No way to prove either one is correct actually.

I had added other White's to this cemetery and a lady told me they were not buried there, they were buried in Al. So I deleted them. I have not been to the cemetery, this information was from my Mother.

Thanks for your help.

Re: Cool Springs, Marion Francis White
Thank you so very much for these photo's. I suspected he was in the WBTS but, was not sure until you got the photo of his military marker.

Many thanks and Happy New Year too.

Thank you for trying to find his memorial. Obviously, there was not a marker put on his grave or it was lost. I will remove the request.

Thank you again,
