What ever happened to Georgia (Baker) Kennedy? I have been trying to search her records and I cant find anything on her. I even have a friend looking through the Kennedy records to see if she has her.

Hello Bonnie,

Since Levi Bankston died in the Confederate State Hospital Travis Co TX he is most likely buried in the Confederate area at The State Cemetery along with his spouse Rachael Preece.
When I get a chance I will look at the Jan 1916 ledger for Oakwood. We have the burials of Oakwood available online at: http://www.austinlibrary.com/ahc/oakwood.htm
There are no Bankston's.
I hope this helps.

I did not add anything to her page. I sent you a message that you had her listed in Find A Grave twice.

Yep, I love working on genealogy; I'm hooked. I live in Abilene, TX. I go to the Mason area often. My mother was born in Mason, my father in Llano, grandfather is Stonewall, just outside of Fredericksburg, then we also cover Menard and Kimble Counties. I love Austin. If, I can be of any help, let me know. Connie

Bonnie,
I made the correction of Connor to Conner. I don't know why I didn't notice the correct spelling since, I took and added the headstone pictures. Just goes to prove, I make mistakes but; I am always glad to make corrections. Thank you for drawing my attention to this. Connie

Bonnie,
So sorry to hear that your leukemia has come back. I pray that it will go back into remission soon for you. Please know if there are any other relatives you are trying to find in this area, I would be honored to track them down for you. Sometimes there's no greater peace than to hold hands with our past, complete and with love. Going out to cemetery today here in Holland, just in case we get any of that Isaac Hurricane tomorrow. Take excellent care. Pam

RE: Lillie Marie
Bonnie-
Thanks you for your kind words. I, too, love genealogy and love to help people, like you, to have the means to connect with their loved ones. I checked on the cemetery registry and there is a Robert Lee Daniels (1891-1963) buried with his wife, Emma Rebecca Daniels (1898- ). Just to let you know, there is a site called usgenweb.org that might be helpful to you. You can look up by state, county, cemetery and find a listing of people buried, generally listed in the order that they are buried in cemetery. It is most helpful if you can first type in usgenweb.org and then add cemetery name, county, state and then search button. You might be surprised what you will find. We've had quite a bit the rain, so I will be going out to the cemetery in another couple days after the roads dry a little, so I won't get stuck. On findagrave, there is a picture of the Daniels I mentioned. I could possibly get a picture of Julie's grave if you could let me know what her married name is. So happy to help you as much as I can. Any question you have anytime, I'm here to help a much as I can. Take care. There's a whole other world for us to connect to when we discover our past. Isnt' it just wonderful!! Take care. Pam

RE: Lillie Marie
Bonnie, I'll be heading to Holland Cemetery this week and will gladly take that picture for you. From the cemetery records she might be part of a Tyler Plot. Would you like a wide shot of the plot as well? I'd be glad to give you a list of the others in the plot, if you'd like. Take care. What a privilege it is to help those who show their love for their loved ones. Pam

I am a little confused about your request for a photo of this person's gravestone. Is it not on your Finagrave site of James Burnis Tyler (1922-1953)? There is a single gravestone picture on this site with the names of James Burnis Tyler and Lillie Marie Tyler (1924- ). Is she perhaps buried somewhere else in Holland Cemetery? Checking the records she was also married to Lloyd Clayton Hamilton and Frank H. Mullen. Could she buried with them? Please advise me to how I might better assist your request. Take care. Pam

RE: James Cox Wofford
Bonnie,

Mary Francis Mangum & James C. Wofford are my first cousins 2x removed. I was unaware that James' middle initial was Cox and I do not know if there is any relation to my father's Cox line. His mother Melinda was born in MS which is where my father's family came from, so it is possible.

I have birth and death dates for them both and some pictures of Mary. They were married in Matagorda County March 18, 1884 according to marriage records. They had 9 children. I have their children's names, most of their birth dates and some of the dates of death if you do not have them.

The Mangums and Woffords intermarried. My mother's oldest sister married a Wofford.

Let me know if you need any of this info and happy to meet another cousin.

Mike

RE: Thank You
My husband's 3rd great-grandfather was John S Frohock; the brother of Thomas Jefferson Frohock.

Your branch of the Frohock genealogy is well documented, but our branch is not. I'm trying to correct that.

Thank you again for your help.
